After a morning at turtle beach we walked up the beach and found Shanthi Beach Resort, the perfect spot for some lunch. We sat overlooking the ocean and ate omelette and prawn fried rice. The food was delicious, what you’d expect from a beach side restaurant, nothing fancy but very flavourful. There was lots of choice on the menu and had we been nearer, we would have gone back to try their dinner menu, including lots of fresh fish. The service was excellent, no complains and the prices were really good. Would recommend to anyone looking to support a local business and enjoy some traditional food.

No wifi No AC Bad customer service! Horrible smell in the room! Dangeriously slippery floors. The property is very old and dirty. The bed sheets and pillows were stained. I also found someone´s used underwear by the side of the bed. They lied and told me there was wifi when I checked in, then later after asking several times for the wifi password, they finally admitted that there was no wifi upstairs in the rooms. An all in all horrible stay! I wouldn´t pay even 2€ to stay there! The only positive I can give is the sunset view from the garden side balcony.

A nice beach resort. Old resort which should be at least 40 years old. The rooms are neat. Particularly the one close to the beach.
The facilities of some of the rooms may be slightly increased as it appears very old.
The food is very good and we can have the food in the beachfront. Nice beach view. A small beach is also present near by the hotel.

The hotel manager was very friendly and kind. The staff were friendly also. The location of the hotel was perfect, it had a great view and was with great swimming opportunities. The rooms were clean and tidy. The food was normal and there was a lot to choose from.
