Where to stay with pets in Lugano

Not speaking the language, we were helped with parking and other arrangements. In addition to an excellent welcome, the hotel is traditional and charming. Ideally located with breathtaking views of Lake Lugano.

Excellent hotel! A bit old!!! But they gave me a room on the 4th floor with a view of the lake! Breakfasts are good! Furniture is a bit old! Considering the price and quality, the best location, just an excellent hotel!!!

Right in the waterfront in a beautiful city. Great old charm and the breakfast had many options. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. And we could store our bags to wander the town

There is a local bus that will take you from the train station- CABS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE- english speaking- Do not expect a normal wine pour-😢😢-2 fingers of wine is 15$- buy a bottle instead

Very cute - right on the Lake- gorgeous views- ICE machine in the Lobby. Swimming pool was gorgeous! Very walk able- little train travels around the village- great for orientation

High end shopping in the vicinity. Women alone diners are second class- Do not let them rush you

There is a 24h common area for refreshments and refrigerator space for guest, as well as a small balcony

We highly recommend the Hotel Atlantico. It is in a great location with just a five minute walk to restaurants, Migros grocery, and the bus station that goes to the train station

The Hotel Atlantico in Lugano has relatively simply furnished rooms with quite small bathrooms, but everything is extremely clean and well-kept. The breakfast is rich and the home-made jams are particularly eye-catching

The staff were very friendly and supportive. The breakfast was VERY good. The hotel was located very close to the Lugano’s attractions. The hotel needs to provide more fans during hot and humid weather.

They have a restaurant on the main level - we didn’t try it this time but the menu did look appetizing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay

Great location to walk through Lugano and enjoy the local town. The room is spacious and the breakfast rich with fresh fruit and meat. As I was traveling for work I missed in the room a place to sit and work on a desk

Excellent hotel and do not really understand why it is just 3 star. Ok w did not have a car, but everything from rooms to food, friendliness was beyond reproach. The setting and decor was quite gorgeous

They were especially attentive to my wife's food allergies. The wine cellar was extensive. Given the building's history, it might seem a bit confusing, but it doesn't take much to find your way around

First time in Lugano and this hotel. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to a junior suite which was lovely since we were celebrating a recent engagement. The room was modern, spacious and clean

The hotel is located up the slope facing the train station. There's a view of the train station from our room but it's not nosiy once the wooden doors of the balcony are closed

Convenient location within 10 minutes walk from the train station and bus terminal. Local bus stops just outside the train station and can get to Lugano Centro and Monte Bre easily

The location is fantastic! Highly recommended! Especially if your luggage is super heavy, as the hotel is right in the atrium after you get off the train and take the cable car – incredibly close, you can walk right to the hotel without dragging your heavy luggage! The breakfast is also very generous; I recommend the kiwi! They also have pancakes, croissants, and European-style bread

Excellent central location with beautiful views of the lake and river. Close to decent traditional pubs and restaurants. Would definately recommend the Tap Bar (Hanger 32) - a self service bar - for both beer and food

The location is absolutely perfect, situated just down the train station, and you could just take the tram and the overall time taken to get to the hotel was like within 1 minute from the train station

The hotel was in center, perfect location. Amenities were provided such as sewing kit, ear buds etc. Coffee machine with coffee pods are well appreciated. And plus a chocolate as a gift at check in

The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to the train station, church, art gallery and central market! The room is well-equipped and clean! The hotel does not have breakfast, but provides free coffee and cookies in the morning🍪

We also ate at the onsite restaurant and really enjoyed it — the food was lovely and the atmosphere was relaxed. While there’s no dedicated parking, we were able to find parking nearby without too much trouble

Why there’s 4 stars - location is a far walk from the downtown, and there were little ants in the room. It was great for us but if you can’t handle that this wouldn’t be for you

The location was perfect for us — we walked the Olive Trail to Gandria right from the hotel, and it was a beautiful and manageable distance

We arrived at the train station just in time to catch our train to Malpensa airport

Lucca and Lulu went over and beyond to make our stay extra special. Lucca offered to give us a ride to the airport at the last minute when we asked for help since we cannot book an Uber

The location of the hotel is ideal. The view from my hotel room was fantastic. The breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. There are plenty of shops and restaurants, all within a couple of minutes walk

Very good, exceeded expectations, the location is particularly good, opposite the boat dock, the facilities in the room have been updated and maintained, not old, the balcony is small but the view is great, the only problem is that the shower is a bit small

For further destinations, such as the main train station, a bus can be taken via the bus stop located a few seconds from the hotel

The view from the balcony was also really beautiful! The only downside is that you need to catch a bus to access downtown, so you need to plan ahead a little bit. But honestly, that didn't bother us

Upscale ambiance, beautiful renovation of a historic mansion. Be aware that less expensive rooms have much less desirable views and your overall experience may well be impacted by this.

A recently renovated property that feels like you're staying at vineyard, yet is only a few minutes drive from Lugano center.

This was the perfect place to stay while in Lugano Paradiso. The room was comfortable and clean, the balcony was an extra bonus. It's close to everything we wanted to see and do. We would definitely recommend it.

A very underrated place, but it is a real budget-friendly hotel with everything essential you really need for a comfortable stay. The furniture is old, yes, but really functional and feasible

No luxury, no image-boosting but superfluous items and decorations. If you really need to stay overnight and have some rest and sleep, this place is ideal

Hotel is straight out of 70s, seems like nothing has been touched, but it’s clean and nicely up kept. Staff is very polite & nice. The sight is simply wonderful! We might be back.

Disliked · Parking is not the most convenient if you have a lot of baggage as there are a lot of steps from the parking below. You may be able to unload by the door if you use the lane to the back above the hotel

A great hotel, Nassa is all about the location, as it is within the center of town and in easy walking distance of all interesting sites and commands a fantastic view of the lake and surrounding mountains

Location: very good, right in the central Lugano, shopping is right at the doorstep and walking along the lake is a must. Check-in: small and lift was one of a kind; miniature

Room: spacious large room and bathroom, clean and tidy. air-conditioning (was very functional and important, especially when we arrive in the hot summer), refrigerator, desk and large wardrobe

The hotel is in central Lugano and has underground parking which was great for us. The hotel is a bit dated but our room was comfortable & clean and had an amazing terrace with views of the lake

The concierge was so kind and asked us about our stay, and also let us keep our bags in the back room while we spent the day out and about in town so we didn't have to lug everything around

Homemade pizzas in their own pizza oven can be had in evenings and although the restaurant is a local staple and features seasonal menus, the simple rooms have spectacular views, comfortable beds and are great for families who want to skip the falsesities and focus on ease and value

This quaint boutique hotel is our favorite place to stay when visiting Lugano. Although the bathrooms are small, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. There's a small kitchenette and mini fridge

A/C was welcome on a hot day. Super convenient location across from the Central Bus Station. Be advised that the pedestrian route from the train station is blocked due to construction.

This hotel was by far the better option than renting a small apartment somewhere. Great location only a few minutes by foot from the Funicular that runs down from the main train station

The room refinement is fine, provided with a Nespresso coffee machine and water. The hotel does not provide a breakfast service, even if you're willing to pay. They provided two packed croissants for the morning after

The room is simple and fresh, the location is excellent, there is a simple stove, it is on the main road, the traffic is a bit noisy, there is a coffee machine downstairs, it is a good choice for a short stay in Lugano

Centrally located and family friendly hotel. Cleaning should be done daily. Otherwise, you have to provide the cleaning materials/tools.

The view from the window is of Lake Lugano. The bed in the room was very comfortable, except that the soundproofing wasn't very good.
