A very underrated place, but it is a real budget-friendly hotel with everything essential you really need for a comfortable stay. The furniture is old, yes, but really functional and feasible. No luxury, no image-boosting but superfluous items and decorations. If you really need to stay overnight and have some rest and sleep, this place is ideal. If you look for luxury and image, then pay more and stay in some other hotels.

We stayed for one night — an experience we will hardly forget!

Music and loud banging continued until 3:30 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. No one from the “hotel” reacted. When we complained in the morning, we were told that we should have called the police. Us, as guests, to call the police?

A very bad experience!! Not recommended!!

Room was ok but lacking a table to work. Bathroom had very poor light and a window that puzzlingly, faces the next room balcony! The window is opaque but still people can see you are in there. Hotel and guests were very noisy. Also laundry room, which is right next to a couple of rooms starts working at 7:00 am, so good luck trying to sleep in. I do not recommend this hotel.

This was the perfect place to stay while in Lugano Paradiso. The room was comfortable and clean, the balcony was an extra bonus. It's close to everything we wanted to see and do. We would definitely recommend it.

Really bad experience, the bed was full of hair and when we went to reception to say so they brought new sheets for us to redo the bed on our own, which was really disgusting. When we checked out the next morning they said there will be no refund as we could have gotten a new room - but clearly after seeing the state of our room and the very old bathroom (plus: next to the window of our bathroom was the balcony of the neighbour room so you do not really feel like you have privacy as there was always someone sitting on this balcony) we did not feel like changing the room but leaving this dirty place.
So we lost a lot of money for very poor service.

The hotel is now surrounded by tall new buildings. Breakfast is uninspired (12Fr is too much for that). The room was treated with textile freshener so that you could hardly breathe even after a long period of airing. Otherwise clean and serves the purpose. Price is a bit high for the performance.

Nice little hotel in the middle of Lugano Paradiso. The car parking is a public parking garage 1min walk from the hotel (they handle tickets for you at 15.-/day per parking spot) and the lake is a 2min walk from the hotel and there are multiple nice restaurants close by.

The interior and decoration of the rooms is a bit dated and the bathrooms are not too large. The shower is definitely built for short people but it works with some gymnastics.

Breakfast buffet is ok for the hotel size and staff is always available, nice and friendly.

Friendly staff. Great walking location down to the water and town. Views were decent from our room. Clean room, cleaned daily. I’d say their pricing is fair for what they provide.
I would just recommend you check your booking and remember if you included breakfast or not. Unfortunately they checked off breakfast included on our check in papers, and since I didn’t recall off the top of my head, I assumed they had the right booking. Well turns out we didn’t include breakfast on our booking and had a large bill at the end of our stay (we simply would not have eaten it if they would have cross checked our booking). They admitted to their mistake of checking it off, however, no partial refund, offered us to take two special jams instead. I take partial fault as well for not checking. Breakfast was ok, wide variety of options.

So badly. I told them to cancel the room, I already said I didn't book it, it's within an hour or maybe within 30 minutes, after I contacting banking" the reception told me can not be cancelled, and they self decided the room hold for me, I didn't ask for it, then told me I should call the insurance, instead call them to cancel or shutdown to this kind of order. Attention attention.

Good hotel. Clean rooms, pets allowed. Beautiful terrace. Good breakfast with big buffet. Restaurant in hotel also cook well. What i did not like: ▪︎bed was from 2 small beds, not 1 full big bed.. ▪︎in room was no kettle or coffee mashine, so every time need to go to restaurant. ▪︎ no bath tub in room.
