Clean, central, very friendly staff. Modern room and spacious. Breakfast is ok, nothing fancy but you have everything.

A/C was welcome on a hot day. Super convenient location across from the Central Bus Station. Be advised that the pedestrian route from the train station is blocked due to construction.

Hotel was very basic and expensive for what it provides. The mattress was uncomfortable and the room had very little space. The hotel comes with breakfast, which although is basic, was nice. The Aircon was also much appreciated as this isn't common across Switzerland.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The building itself is beautiful and perfectly located right in the city center, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The staff were incredibly friendly, flexible, and accommodating - they really made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was bright, very clean, and comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of options.

Great Hotel in the center of Lugano. You can walk to the lake, city center or Ciani park. Not far from train station and busses. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and well organized. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Lugano.

I stayed one night for business and really enjoyed Hotel Zurigo. The receptionist was very friendly and I she made me feel welcome. I visited during a heat wave so I really appreciated the fully functioning air condition. The room is basic but it has enough space and it was super clean. Breakfast was also standard but with very good quality ingredients (I loved the fresh braid). The hotel is super central so you can easily walk everywhere. Opposite there is the main bus terminal so it is also handy in case you want to use public transportation.

Overall - adequate place for a few nights while visiting town. My extended family stayed around the corner in a seriously over-priced vacation-apartment. This hotel was by far the better option than renting a small apartment somewhere. Great location only a few minutes by foot from the Funicular that runs down from the main train station. Easy to walk to from that funicular station with carry-on bags. I stayed in a single room with a double bed. The room has air conditioning, which is so incredibly important in Lugano in the summer. The room is extremely basic: bed, small desk-like thing, wardrobe, bathroom - serves the purpose of sleeping, which may or may not be all you need. The room is not well insulated from exterior sound. If you do not have ear plugs, be prepared to hear sound in the corridor until all have gone to sleep. Otherwise, very comfortable. I absolutely LOVED that they had a coffee station just down the hall where it was possible to enjoy a coffee before going down for breakfast. Breakfast was standard for Swiss hotel - a few cheeses, meats, yogurt, Birchermüesli, a few different breads, cereals, hard boiled eggs, sth akin to scrambled eggs and bacon in a warming tray, coffee, tea, juices… all perfectly normal and not more or less than one needs.

The only good things about this property are the location and bus/train pass provided. Room and lobby are bare bones...think Ikea. Nothing in the room at all.like felt like being in a hospital room. The bed was uncomfortable, and the breakfast (average at best) is served in a school cafeteria setting, The woman who say she is the director is unhelpful and and at times rude. She put through the room charge in USD instead of CHF which cost us an additional 40USD bank fee. Any time we asked her a question about anything we needed, all she could say is no to any questions we asked. Definitely would not recommend this property !!

For someone from the UK, it's an expensive hotel, but everything about it is just fine. Clean rooms. Good and friendly service, Nice breakfast. Aircon could be a little more efficient (but it was unseasonably hot whilst we were there)!

Don't recommend. The rooms are not sound-proof, so I had a really bad sleep. Had to move to another hotel, but they didn't return the payment for unused day. The breakfast is pathetic. Only 7-8 parking spaces available. The bus terminal across the street is not adding the comfort. Will never stay there again.
