We had two rooms here (one with private bathroom, one with shared bathroom). Breakfast was good, reception nice. Free instand coffee next to reception. Outstanding view of the city square from one of the rooms and a view of Matterhorn from the other. Zermatt itself is amazingly beautiful. Toiletries and towels were available. Interesting system for leaving the key and picking up the night access token. It met our expectation as we were there for hiking and not staying around.

A fantastic little hotel with that warm feeling. A nice atmosphere with fantastic and helpfull personnel. Perfectly located between the city center and the gondola to the Zermatt wiev point. We had a nice simple room with everything we needed. The resturant in the bottom floor served wery nice both food and drinks. I will definatly come back.👌

Wonderful budget hotel in a great location. The hotel is small, cozy and offers great value for money. The staff is also unbeatable and very accommodating. The breakfast buffet also left nothing to be desired. Highly recommended, we would be happy to come back.

Very good stay in the heart of small town.... its on the other end of the railway station with less luggage or a single 23kg luggage, I was able to drag it to the hotel with no trouble. All the main hotels and shopping area area / hotels are right outside the hotel and all within walking distance. It's on a no car or no public transport zone so its very peaceful. However getting access to public transport is not difficult or far. Service and courteous helpful staff - room was compact but clean and it was fine by me as I was a solo traveler and I spent very little time in the room. Very organized (tables marked by room number) breakfast in the restaurant, std small hotel spread. Only challenge - No lift ... Movement of heavy luggage is a challenge.

I booked on their website in April for a September trip & got no confirmation from them (despite what is promised on their online booking system). I emailed them (in German) in August to ask if they could confirm my booking. They did not respond to my email. We felt that it would be too risky to trek there without confirmation of our night's accommodation, so we changed our route. (We were doing the Walkers High Route backwards and trekked from Gruben via the via Forcletta Pass to Zinal, where a hotel actually confirmed our booking. But I was charged for the full cost of the room at Weisshorn, which is 340 usd per night. (This is by far the most expensive place on the trek.) I am not impressed. If they had just responded to my email...

A perfect and economical place to stay the night in Zermatt. Very good location. Neat room. The washroom is clean even though it is shared. And most importantly, a perfect breakfast. Everything is just amazing.

The hotel is about 10 min walk from the train station, but it is very easy to locate. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the bedroom is so spacious and comfortable, the shared bathroom is clean and well maintained. The hotel does not have a lift, so be prepared to lug your suitcase up narrow spiral stairs. Breakfast is included and the spread is good. I would say this hotel offers really good value for money.

Close to the church, very helpful and nice staff. No elevator but staff is very helpful. Price is reasonable with including breakfast. Love it

We were attracted by the sign of home made applestrudl. We only had drinks and applestrudl. And the applestrudl was delicious.

Perfect hotel for anyone travelling to Zermatt on a budget. We didn’t try the restaurant, but the room was great and staff were awesome. Lucas helped us with check in and was super glad and patient helping us with directions and planning things to do. He also responded also immediately to our email and it was at 22:00! Fully intend on staying here again when/if I ever come back to Zermatt. Also, the lady working at the breakfast buffet was extremely nice.
