Jambiani, Tanzania 🧭 Map
Sanjey was amazing, he was helpful throughout my stay. The hotel is a bit far from most places.
It was amazing! It was really soo beautifully decorated. Simple but pretty. Loved the little water bowl outside the room to rinse your feet. The staff were soo kind & helpful.
The only thing the room needs is a long mirror in the room. And the restaurant food can be slightly improved.
But otherwise all.good! I will definitely recommend it!
Nice pool right at beach - but very basic breakfast
Very charming hotel . Very sweet and available staff . They did their best to bring our luggage back at our room after being lost by the airline company : we could haven’t done with the staff ! Very comfortable room , clean and with AC. The restaurant is very good . The best we have tried in Zanzibar by far. Do not miss the Cigale lobster it is a must eat in their restaurant. It is a very good...
Coco Beach is a beautiful and soothing resort in the heart of Paje! A buzzing and city like environment with positive vibes & energy. The beach is beautiful the rooms are well maintained and clean, the hospitality staff are amazing. Its comfort , simple and quiet yet never boring. Everything was perfect if you like simplicity and calm.
If you have any questions the staff members will always be there to answer your question.
We have loved everything about this hotel, the staff members were so nice to us, very helpful if you want to make plans in Zanzibar they will give you advices on the activities that you can or can't do, the pictures are really the same in...

The rooms, service are goods are all but the location is even better in dar with nyam nyam if u know wat i mean
Esperanza at the reception is exceptional.. thanx for that customer care
Hotel environment is so friendly with great customer care, the rooms have space, had sauna that is mixed with healthy organic herbs it was a great experience, I recommend the hotel and thank me later.
The hotel looks very good but the front desk service is very unprofessional. The room disappoints. Bedding old, ruffled, TV with one channel. A la carte dinner Ok, very nice waiter service. Very modest breakfast. Overall impression not very good.
This was my first time in the facility. I didn't see any inside of a room but the Kitulo Function Hall was well ventilated and spacious.
This is a pretty nice local hotel. The staff is amazingly nice and helpful. I chose Nefaland because it is right across the street from the ABC Upper Class ticketing office. I use them when traveling to Iringa because I can board the bus directly at their office before they head out to the bus station on the limits of Dar es Salaam. So Staybg at Nefaland is great for that since the bus leaves at 5am...

This is a beautiful hotel. Each room is beautifully decorated and spacious. Air conditioning plus a ceiling fan makes the room comfortable for sleeping. My room had a lovely balcony overlooking a garden. The internal courtyard makes the hotel very quiet. The rooftop is lovely for breakfast and dinner or the Secret Garden within the hotel compound is also lovely for a meal. The hotel is within easy...
My room was a work of art with unique furnishings and exquisite detail
We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we arrived very early in the morning and were pleasantly surprised when they offered us breakfast and allowed us to check in early.
The property itself is stunning: a beautiful historical building that has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. Our room was spacious, elegant...
It is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. Excellent room, staff, services. The hotel and the rooms are in traditional Zanzibar architecture style, which gave me great experience. Staff is considerate and detail oriented. The dinner at the rooftop is wonderful.
One minor downside is the shower had low water pressure due to my room was in the top floor. Sometimes I had to wait for 1-2 minutes until...
The rooms were decorated well and was very clean. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Loved the rooftop for breakfast and the location was perfect.
Special place. The staff outstanding. A few remarkable days at this wonderful historic 'hotel'.

It was neither good nor bad, just average.
It didn't feel very clean.
What bothered me more was the large number of mosquitoes.
I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. However there is a bit of disturbance from rats running around during the night which is make me more scary but it’s not big deal we have been experiencing it even in other hotel in big city. Nice amazing staff and food is good. Points is very closer to the ferry which is also very nice. Super thankful for my lovely chef abillah he made my stay perfectly. Hakuna...

Nice hotel with budget pricing.
Great place, amazing people 😄
The hotel rooms are spacious with balconies and the location of the hotel is in the middle of stone town easy access to everything
Nice staff
I arrived after dinner, and they thought I was a no-show so they gave up my premium room. The next day they moved me to a nice room. The place itself is definitely not fancy. But the staff were all super nice and helpful. The people in Zanzibar are pretty nice and fantastic though, so there’s that.
The hotel is on the roadside, next to a school, and quite noisy.
The facilities are old, there is only soap in the bathroom, the smell in the room is not very friendly, and the most important thing is that the price is very high, and the cost performance is very low.
its a hotel locaited at town near to stone town city, Zanzibar urban town cuty, its lively place with 5 star service, not far from airport and also very near to port.

We returned to IFA for a vacation, since our visit with them in 2023 was absolutely wonderful! The location of IFA Beach Resort is ideal as it sits at the very beachfront, offering beautiful scenery. The staff members are warm and friendly, always ready to serve and help in any way possible. Rooms are clean and air conditioning provides a much needed break from the Zanzibar heat! Fridges in the rooms...
My family and I had an absolutely perfect stay at IFA Beach Resort ! The hotel is beautifully maintained, ideally located in a calm and peaceful setting, and the reservation team took a good care of my requests to give us an incredible spot right by the sea. Falling asleep every night to the soothing sound of the waves was simply magical … But above all, what made our experience unforgettable was...
The rooms were spacious, elegantly furnished, and impeccably clean. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Not forgetting the stunning sea views with a clean and well maintained pool
I've been three times. In many ways a good place. -Still the restaurant doesn't get enough material, so everything is often over but there is business. The sheets and pillows are now in order, at least in my room. The swimming pool is ok but again I had to point out that even the top of the pool has to be wiped daily otherwise it will get green, maybe the pool people get a bad salary, people with Indian...
Beach side
The location is perfect, directly on the long, nice and pretty calm Jambiani beach. The hotel has a large garden with flowers and palm trees around the pool area. Some sun beds directly on the beach (with a small fence so vendors not walking straight in)
Good breakfast.
We had a large basic room eith big bed and huge balcony with excellent sea view.

Probably the best hotel in this area, which is the south branch of Jambiani. Extremely friendly and helpful service all round. Excellent queen bed with mosquito net (not that I needed it at the time). However no fridge in the rooms. Meals are on demand pretty much any time, always fresh and excellent. Breakfast choices are limited but very good, i.e. there's no breakfast buffet as in resorts (for that...
The employees are very kind. There was no air conditioner, but I was able to sleep because the wind was blowing through. Mosquito nets are a must. It's like sleeping in a bungalow at a campsite. The view in front of the beach is spectacular.

Absolutely amazing stay. Sushant , Excellent Service Gertrude at Reception very kind and Friendly. I will definitely recommend Al Johari *****
Traditional hotel in Stone town and great sea view from rooftop restaurant. Budget friendly and clean. Dedicated staff and helpful
Great location, amazing architectural history
A wonderful hotel, fabulous location, bristling with architectural history - a stunning building.
On the room - there was no safe; bed too big for the room layout (a big bed is a good thing); the mattress was a bit "tired"; TV channels poor - needs DSTV ..... otherwise fabulous
I paid circa $50 for one night here on a work trip. For that price I think it was a complete bargain.
Location is great, no night clubs / chickens crowing next door so quiet. I didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on food (so many choices within a 5-10 min walk).
This is not a luxury hotel like a Hyatt or Serena. Instead it’s bursting with Stone Town character, amazing location,...
Lovely staff, great location, Puzzle Coffee across the street

Vert serene and Great location, nice view of the ocean. Very very slow service. There is a charge of Tsh5000 entrance free that is paid cash and you have to pay as long as you get inn no matter how much you spend on food and drinks.
We stayed at Kajiji Beach Resort from the evening of the 21st Dec to the morning of 27th December. We arrived late on the 21st so went straight to our room, lovely air conditioned and clean Linen. We went to the dinning area the following morning and sadly walked past a resort that was dirty with plastic cups bottles paper napkins and bottles scattered all over. We had our breakfast, and returned to...
My wife and I stayed here for 12 hours, but that was by choice due to an extended layover at Dar es Salaam. We selected Kijiji to be near the beach, it has a pool and a decent room to relax it while we wait for our flights. The taxi to the hotel costs $35, and upon check in, we waited for about an hour for our room (we checked in early, so no fault on the hotel here). Area grounds were nice, but for...
The biggest advantages of this resort are the food, the beach, and the staff. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. The only issues I had were with the AC remote, which kept breaking, and the drain in the shower, which was clogged (but it was fixed quickly). The swimming pool wasn’t very clean, so I didn’t use it. The spa is cheap but not really worth a visit, I paid for a 1-hour massage and...
Rooms are so good, and having a dressing room, bathrooms are also really good.
Beds are also so comfortable with a mosquito net, WIFI is perfect.
Restaurant food is good with a moderate pricing, and bar is also excellent.
There are so friendly rabbits roaming inside the hotel complex, but they get scared so easily.
Water in the pool is always foggy, so I could not swim in it.

I definitely recommend staying at Maisha. Calm location and close to Nungwi beach and central area.

A massive shoutout to their staff: all of them very friendly, helpful, polite and always with a smile. Interaction with guests was beyond any place I have stayed before!
Well done to all of the team!
The Maisha Nungwi was a wonderful place to start our honeymoon! The people were extraordinary, friendly and helpful. The Beach Bar/Restaurant is awesome, the food is great, the view is beautiful. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere at Nungwi Beach Boutique Hotel. They have great location. It is true, that it is not on the beach, but it is a minute away. The hotel is great, 2 little pools inside the garden, stuff are super nice.
There is a beach club owned by the hotel. Beach chairs, food & drinks are all within a walkable distance.

Arusha, Zaramo Street 🧭 Map
The hotel bedroom furnished is out of style. The bathroom is very small. The hotel is located right by the public market and bus station. It is very convenient walking around the city center, where there are so many businesses and banks. The staff was awesome and friendly. The restaurant has a nice view where you can enjoy your meal while looking out at the city view.
The hotel is located in the center of Arusha, opposite the bus station. The area is very busy, and traffic can be very congested during rush hour. However, it is in a lively part of the city, surrounded by various markets, shops, and artisans of all kinds. The food is decent, and overall a positive experience.
As it is near the Central Market and bus terminal, noise can be a concern in the morning.
The facilities are not good. The elevator stops. There are power outages. It's lively and noisy at night. The staff is friendly and nice. The room is not bad. There is no hair dryer or razor. There is no shampoo. The worst thing is that they say I haven't paid when I check out. They don't check even though I paid online by credit card. They ask me for proof, which is annoying.
We just stayed for one night before our safari started. The hotel itself was fine. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It also has a nice little restaurant. One thing to be aware of is that the surrounding area is very busy, with a market, bus station, and a mosque very close. So, there was quite a bit of city noise during our stay.
Spacious room with double bed, coffee table and two chairs. Basic bathroom with hot shower. Hotel is opposite bus station so room is very noisy. We ate breakfast on the balcony from where you can observe all the hustle and bustle of the bus station. Breakfast was good and waitress serving breakfast was friendly (unlike receptionist upon arrival). Porter helped to organise a taxi to the airport.

Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Life-Changing Safari Experience! My recent 4-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro with Lush Expeditions was nothing short of magical! From the moment we left Arusha, everything was perfectly organized, making the trip stress-free and deeply enjoyable.
Very good welcome from Winnie and Rita a very good teamwork from the two. We loved the rooms which were very spacious. Very big compound and good gardens. The breakfast enough. There are renovated rooms, as well as old rooms. Some rooms have a refrigerator, some rooms do not. The air conditioner is located directly above the bed, and the blanket is a sheet. In the old rooms there is no partition between the toilet and shower. The location is great, if not for the "den" on the nearest street, where local drinkers hang out)) You will definitely not be able to pass unnoticed...
Beautiful spot, overlooks the ocean. Hot showers, fresh breakfast (fruits, juice, tea or coffee, eggs and toast), and very kind staff. The restaurant in front of it is AMAZING too. Our group loved it.
Nice place considering the price. I had to switch rooms because the air conditioning didn't work. Location was great, right on the beach.
+ Great location and not very expensive.
+Beach is really good, swimming even at low tide possible.
- Standard breakfast: toast and omelet. (2 additional tests cost $2).
- Service is super slow.
- Mosquito net has holes.
- Internet slow
As far as I can tell it's the cheapest place that you are looking at the beach off the porch or balcony. I paid 30$ for a room with a fan and an AC room costs 40$. I have peeked at other rooms that are nice but my room is unsophisticated ( no nightstands there is a space for a wardrobe but not one there!) Not dingy though and cleaned every day. You won't regret to visit the place.
Great place, unlike one of the reviewer wrote,
A hidden gem in Mbeya. Rooms are nice and clean, staff is attentive. The restaurant serves wonderful authentic local foods. There are some outdoor tables for an afternoon beer and even a bar with live music on Friday nights. Why there is a bar with live music is a bit odd as there are not many guests. I travel in many remote areas of the world, and can assure you this is an oasis in Tanzania....
This is a beautiful quiet place just outside of downtown Mbeya. It is close enough to shopping but still tucked away in a quiet place around beautiful plants and water. They have a nice restaurant and bar, nice simple rooms and secure parking. The only issue I have with this place is that when ordering food it takes around and hour to get your food. This happened on 2 separate occasions I ate here...
