First do not leave your valuables in the room, we missed 200$ after the first room cleaning. The place is on the beach and it s nice, but the room is overrun, walls are degrading, the toilet, sink, shower are rusty... We payed almost 150$ per night but the place should not be more than 50... Surely you can get better accomodation for this price somewhere else. The restaurant and bar are way to overpriced...

Great hotel, nice pool, good food, great breakfast ,they have an execptable gym, friendly people everyting there but the beach is a big disappoitement. 100 % covered by seaweed, they only clean a small 2meter way to the water when it is low tide. The architectural details in the space finishing and interior deaign is breath taking .....but one should always opt for shef's menu of the day to be on safe side ....there abit of mosquitoes so having a mosquito repellant could come in handy .......

The view is quite mesmerizing but the rooms it’s just fine, they are having old facilities which is Tv not working & the fridge.but still it doesn’t stop us the enjoy our stay even just for 1 night.

It is far from stone town(25 minutes), Breakfast is very bad and there is no lunch and dinner. You need to go to stone town and need to pay for to go and coming back 20$ every day for lunch and dinner. Single matres is very hard, not confortible. You can't sleep on that matress more than one hour up to morning. Swiming pool is small but was very clean and good.

Very amazing place...good staff...nice breakfast.and very huge swimming pool...would recommend if they add activities and other sight scenery trips...like boating. Jet ski......it would be much better...as well as try to keep the ocean clean...after.the fisherman dumps the weeds at the seaside when they are done fishing..because we cant enjoy swimming in the ocean. I did not sleep here so can not say much about the rooms. The staff where friendly and it is a nice place to stay just over the day. You pay entrance for using the pool. The pool is nice and clean. Swim in the sea is not bad but has to be done at high tide and it is a lot of plastic bags on the beach. Why the hotels do not clean is a mystery

Looks lovely, and the location is nice and quiet , the staff are really warm and welcoming, but, lodge itself needs allot of improvements for the price packages they offer. We booked nearly all the rooms, and many rooms had no running water, we had no card keys to the rooms, and since the doors are card locked, we had to share one key and you end up leaving your door open if you had to move around...

I loved my stay here. Everyone is hospitable. If you go up to the terrace, Kilimanjaro is right in your face. This was my first time visiting Tanzania. Work in the hotel not reported and therefore constant noise from morning to night... On our arrival, we had a wrong room for the first night in a room for 2 for 3 with faulty air conditioning which flooded the floor of the room, soaking the suitcases. Table service very average.

Excellent breakfast and a very good all-day menu. We loved the laid-back feel to the place, with wonderful sandy walkways and a pretty garden. It was simple but elegant - and the entertainment was a fantastic extra - we enjoyed live acoustic music, a fire show on the beach and on our last night a drumming show with dancing on the sand. The location of the hotel is picturesque. The hotel is great for those who look for peaceful and quiet vacation. WITH 11 rooms and full service, it almost felt like a private resort. The direct access to the beach meant sunrise walks along the beach which my parents loved. The staff was excellent, the chefs are everything the food was great everyday. Their rooms are plain and my room in particular kept having power issues that I learnt to resolve myself because the hotel staff weren't proactive enough.
