We cannot recommend this resort highly enough. Everything from the friendliness of the staff , the delicious food, enjoyable entertainment, excellent room , with the best and most effective mosquito net we have found in any hotel. Dated property but clean and comfortable, great view and location

We stayed here in June 2025. The hotel is wonderful, the rooms are large and well-maintained. There are rooms in the garden next to the pool, and there are rooms with ocean views. The view from them is stunning. Breakfasts are ordinary, quite decent. From the restaurant there is a direct descent into the ocean. Beach towels are provided, changed if necessary.

We spent a month at Langi Langi in Nov/December 2024. We had a fantastic time and this was due largely to the wonderful staff. I came with friends to see the sea. It is in the center of Stone Town and has a good location. Overall it is good and I will choose it again if I have the chance.

It's not new, but very beautiful. When we checked in, they said there were no sea view rooms, what a pity...; The hotel is on the west side of the island. Don't forget to find a sunset cruise to watch the sunset, which is the highlight of the hotel on the west side of the island.

Right in the heart of Stone Town, you can go downstairs to the beach. There are fresh coconuts for breakfast, but they are not sweet enough. Haha, maybe the African coconuts are not the right variety, they don't feel sweet enough. The overall service facilities are good and meet the standards of a 5-star hotel.

Amazing place with a beautiful view especially during a full moon! Staff go a mile beyond to make sure you receive the best service as well. The place was in the city centre and very easy to allocate. I had a very warm welcome from the lady Glory, who made sure I was comfortable with my stay. They also have good breakfast and a big gym with the city view. Definitely am coming back.

The Ocean view is amazing. You can walk on the Ocean during Low Tide. The private pool is awesome with ocean views. I have been a guest many times as a walk-in. I have good experience with the restaurant and foods. Pools are good both for adult and kids. Swimming in the ocean is may not be satisfying because of trash yet it’s beyond the hotel.

The hotel is very easily accessible right in the heart of the city. They have different options for their rooms which are a good size, clean and the quality of sleep is good because it is not situated in a noisy area. Food is also very good and the staff are friendly and willing to accommodate the client's needs. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great except for one person at reception who was not polite and didn’t communicate well. He seemed to have a bad attitude. Got the poorest service ever. Having confirmed the bookings for 5 rooms and and arriving late only to be told I hadn't paid for all the rooms. Superb place . Clean beach nice food. during the low tide you can walk almost a Kilo meter toward the sea through clean white sands. Hotel has a beautiful swimming pool and so many huts " mkuti" to stay for the day. Lots of rooms for a night stay, and near to the water park. We visited Namaste Restaurant as a family and Denis took care of us. He was incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout our visit. He made sure everything was perfect and checked in on us regularly. Great service like his makes all the difference. Highly recommend!

The place is very romantic and is very suggested for couples. Fantastic! We had dinner and we ordered pasta with prawns, calamari rings, hamburger and a analcolic cocktail for 70000 tzs (32 usd). The food is not bad for the standard of tanzania but is not impressive. It is just acceptable. The food portion of calamari rings was very very small. The others were ok. Staff: good!

The location of this hotel is great. It is right on the beach front and the hotel offers sun beds for its guests. There are many, many bars and restaurants just a short walk away along the beach. The downside is the rooms themselves. As I read, the water pressure in the shower was terrible - it was barely a trickle and I had to go and use my friends shower as I could not use my own. The bed and towels...

I really enjoyed my stay at Baraka Beach Bungalows, very well located in the middle of Nungwi beach. The room is spacious, clean, and well furnished. The beach restaurant is amazing, especially for seafood lovers, They provide sunbeds with towels on the beach. The staff were wrlcoming and very helpful.

The food was reasonable price, I did not like they were no consistent with the flavor of the food.

the rooms had just been painted and the smell of the paint was overwhelming. the front desk could not located our reservation at arrival.
