Avoid this hotel. Staff struggling, to keep former glory running, seemingly abandoned by management and owners. Sad, and a real shame, as you can still sense its potential for greatness. Check in took around 25-30 minutes per pax, people queuing getting seriously agitated, seemingly due to understaffing and poor procedures. No hot water in the room, did not get fixed. Water coming from the bathroom ceiling in the middle of night. Other guests, a nice young couple that had to wait one hour for check in to complete, later showed pics of rusty water in the bathtub. Ours has a footprint (!!) in it. And the price…..very expensive for Thailand. Don’t come here, the owners have given up on the hotel and staff, so should you.

Checked in at 2 PM and immediately left to find a new place. Found a new hotel at 5 PM and came back just to check out. I'd rather lose 5,000 baht than stay at this hotel.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!

hello, so, i just gonna share EVERYTHING i know about this hotel. basically, this was a base for American soldiers back in 80s . it was an amazing hotel with huge territory for that time! after around 30 years they had no reconstruction and just so u know how HUGE this hotel is… well just look at the map on the photo i pinned . so, they USED to have 5 WINGS and one of them contains over 4000 rooms . now, 4 of them are “under reconstruction” ( they just don’t have money to look after them) This whole thing is in a top 10 biggest hotels in the world. you know HOW hard to look after this huge project? but .. they just didn’t care! it was getting worse and worse every day, older and older, dustier and dustier. until 2019 . the Covid. the owners unfortunately passed away and the hotel DIDNT EVEN HAVE AN OWNER ANYMORE! (they still don’t) ITS LIKE A DEAD-ALIVE HOTEL! THEY DONT HAVE A PERSON WHO WOULD LOOK AFTER THIS WHOLE THING!
IT JUST LIVES BY ITSELF?! 😭 THERE IS NO ENGLISH SPEAKING STUFF, AT LEAST EATABLE FOOD AND NO ROOM SERVICE!!
And because they are broke, at night, they turn off all the lights in the building JUST TO SAVE MONEY! It’s just.. never come to this hotel, it’s actually under the curse or something.. just stay away from it.

I usually do not write a review but wanted to do it this time to warn other travellers about staying in this hotel.

1. This hotel has probably seen its glory days. When the cab drove in, the compound was huge but with many wings of the hotel closed and looking dilapidated/neglected.
2. The hotel felt empty when i stepped into it. There is only one security guard at the lobby and 2 receptionist. There’s not a single guest or soul I can see in the hotel. Restaurants seem closed and nothing seems to be operating including the aircon in the lobby. The whole feeling is eerie and you wonder what kind of place you are stepping into.
3. Check in time is 2pm but they are “kind” enough to let me check in at 1pm despite the fact that the whole place looks empty. They made me wait for a hour.
4. The room is on the third floor and needs major upgrade. The mini fridge is yellow in side and the bathrobes look like it has not been worn for years. The key is not card tap kind but is a physical key.
5. When I asked them whether they can move me to a higher floor, they told me all other floors are going under renovation with carpets being replaced. Al guests are on the third floor. I do not hear or see any workers around by the way.

I cannot imagine myself staying in this hotel for the next few days. I found another hotel and checked out from this hotel after a couple of hours and forfeited my money.

This place should not be listed at all and charging that kind of price. I would sincerely advise anyone from booking this place as there are many options available In Pattaya.
