Utopia Resort in Lamai Beach

I really liked the hotel. It's clean, the room smelled pleasant, and there was no dampness or mold. It had air conditioning and a fan. The beach is just steps away. There are sun loungers under the tree canopy, providing excellent shade. The staff is very friendly and truly cares about their guests. We stayed in a room near the pool.

Perfect location, helpful staff, good cleaning. We had fresh deluxe room with pool view and it was absolutely great vacation.

Very comfortable villas, clean, comfortable and have everything you need.
Large windows, lots of light, there is a nice veranda for sitting, spacious.
The first line has its own beach. There are cafes and restaurants, shops, a lively street nearby - all the action is nearby.

Really nice cabins directly to the beach with the best Staff ever. Liked everyone there and felt really welcome as a Lone traveller. Would always book it again too. ++ You have a Open Restaurant with good WiFi, so good for working!

Reasonable offerdable economical price located in the very popular areas in Koh Samui. It has its own beach and no need to cross road.

Didn’t stay here just came for drinks and to take advantage of their great spot on the beach. If you consume you get to use their sunbeds for free. We came here twice to get drinks and do that. Each time we got smoothies and they were good and reasonably priced.
The biggest win here though is the staff. They are very friendly.

I didn't stay there, I went just for beach restaurant and massage.
The staff was amazing, very nice always with smile on their faces and very polite.
The food and drinks were also good.
The it started to rain and I decided to have a coconut oil massage - the best to finish my afternoon. Thank you so much - ขอบคุณมาก!

Family organized resort with a warm environment with 3 different kind of bungalows including a new building with day to day standard rooms just a walk away from the beach. The restaurant has many different tasty dishes and some really tasty German food as well all for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Pricey but food is very good. Little too expensive for my taste, definitely caters to westerners, but met some interesting people there and had fresh food. Also the biggest coconut for the price although it tasted a little off

The resort is quite old compared to its neighbours but its cheaper too and the service is really worth the price. They clean the room and change your sheets and towels every day, the breakfast is included and filling (tea/coffee, juices, fruits and a choice of eggs or pancakes).
The room is quite spacious (even the cheapest one), comes with a/c, clean bathroom, towels, beach towels, TV... The bed is quite hard but I like it so it wasn't a problem for me and it seems to be the case in most of the places here.
The location is really central in Lamai. They have access to the beach with umbrellas and long chairs. They have 2 restaurants with average prices for the area, a travel agency, a bar, massages (a bit more expensive than the shops around but it's on the beach)...
The staff is really nice and most of them speak à good English. I really enjoyed my time here and would come again for sure!
