Our month-long stay at Lamai Coconut Beach Resort was nothing short of perfect – truly a home away from home!

First and foremost, the staff deserve a huge 5 stars. Every single person went above and beyond to make our holiday exceptional. A special mention to You and Sue, whose warm smiles and hugs every morning set the tone for our days in the best way possible.

Kong, the restaurant manager, is an absolute star. He leads his team with professionalism, warmth, and genuine kindness, and it shows in every detail of the service. His efforts to ensure every guest feels cared for are second to none. Kong’s sense of humor and endless patience as we attempted to learn some Thai added an extra layer of joy to our experience.

We highly recommend the Seaview Room – spacious, full of natural light, and the perfect spot to take a break from relaxing… and relax some more! The beds are firm, which took a little getting used to, but honestly, my back has never felt better.

The housekeeping team deserves a special shout-out as well. Every time we returned from breakfast, our room was spotless, fresh, and smelled amazing. Don’t hesitate to ask for extra towels or anything you need – the staff are always happy to help.

In short, if you’re looking for warm hospitality, excellent service, and a beautiful setting, Lamai Coconut Beach Resort should be at the top of your list. We can’t wait to come back!

had the bungalow right by the beach, and I can confirm that it’s worth paying a bit extra. It was truly beautiful, with a sea view and direct beach access. Thanks to the many trees, it was always pleasant outside and never too hot. The bungalow itself was very well equipped and there’s hardly anything to complain about.

However, the internet was sometimes quite weak. The sun loungers on the beach were not as well maintained as those at the neighboring hotels.

Depends what you are looking for in a beach resort of this price range.
Pros: clean, air con powerful and cool, strong water pressure and water heats fast. Has an elevator to room for those not staying in chalets.direct access to beach. Pool is small but clean. Large balcony with drying rack I was also very impressed by the water proofing of the shower screen..Absolutely no water leaked out and there is no pooling of water outside the shower area
Cons: dated furniture, faucet is corroded, amenities are very sad, (bring your own or buy from 711), no bedroom slippers, mattress is the luck of draw. I had a firm mattress but my friend's was sagging and too soft.
Overall, great location, wear and tear and no frills room

The hotel has seen better days. Facilties are old but works. Expect basic and you're fine. My major gripe is that I paid for a seaview room but I was allocated a room on level 3 with seaview barley in sight blocked by trees and building. Unless you're assigned a room on level 4 (the highest), I think it's not worth paying a premium for seaview.

Fantastic value for money resort on the Lamai beach. Easy check in and check out.

Stayed in one of the beachside bungalows. It does get a bit loud during the day with the jetski rentals around, however that is not a deal breaker.

Laundry is outsourced but quite cheap

5 minutes walking distance to Lamai night market, very close to Lamai Cocktail bar, eateries and currency exchange counters.

Breakfast was sumptuous with delicious fresh fruits, Thai and continental options. Eggs are made as per preference like other resorts.

What stood out to me was the fantastic and friendly service from the hotel staff. They really put effort in engaging with the guests.

Car parking is available subject to reservation.

I stayed in both a seaview room and a garden bungalow - I recommend the room. It's bigger and brighter, better bathroom, and slightly newer... though the facilities and furnishings do need to be upgraded. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is great if being next to the beach is important, but it's also very busy with the sound of jet ski's, etc. Breakfast buffet was good (450 THB if it's not included in your room rate). Expect transfers from the airport to take 30min.

The hotel is nice with friendly staff. It has an excellent location on the beach. The tree with wide branches under which the deck chairs are placed, offers generous shadow during the entire day.
