This is a great little place, we stayed two extra days after our original booking because of cancelled flight due to Iranian mess. It’s so quiet with lots of birds calls in the morning. The resident cats are so sweet. It’s a great spot and handy to Dinso Rd and Khao San Road if you’re so inclined . Some good veg/ vegan restaurants nearby. A nice change from the usual hotels!

What an amazing place! Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious and comfy, had a little sitting room, and we even had our own private spa/pool. The hotel was close to everything. Will definitely be back to stay next time we're in Bangkok.

We have just enjoyed two lovely nights here in this attractive old house. Our room was spotless and spacious, the are is very quiet, it’s close to many restaurants and attractions, and the young lady who looked after us was so charming and helpful. It doesn’t do breakfast, that’s clearly stated so we knew that but they directed us to a lovely cafe just 5 minutes away so don’t winge about that, we would love to go back but could not get in a second time unfortunately, great stay in a house instead of the corporate hotels.

Baan Noppawong is a lovely, family-run hotel in the old city close to the Grand Palace. Our room (#6) was immaculate, quiet, a good size for two people, and the bed was really comfortable. The shower has great water pressure and very hot water - not that you will need much in Bangkok! The windows have no black-out shades, so you may need a mask if morning light bothers you. There are lots of restaurants and hawker stands within walking distance. The staff are fantastic - so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Cozy clean room. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Cheap and good massage shop two doors away. Cafes, restaurants and street food within walking distance. Khao San market within walking distance for food and drinks. Despite the convenience, it was on a quiet and safe side-street.

Lovely, quiet hotel near to the Grand Palace, the National Museum, Khao San night market, and several temples. The rooms are beautifully furnished, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I come back to Bangkok.

We loved our stay here! Small family owned hotel with traditional Thai furnishing, in a great central location. Peaceful and calm oasis amid the excitement and turmoil of central Bangkok, with friendly, hospitable and welcoming hosts. Morning birdsong an unexpected pleasure.

Loved the house, our room was so quaint, but the road to get there was a bit on the dirty side and there were not a lot of places to have breakfast nearby.

We just left the house and cannot give less than a 5 rate. We stayed 2 nights splitted -trip to Cambodia in behind- doing late arrival both nights, after midnight, and lady was both nights waiting just for us with best of her smiles. Also today she waked up at 06.30 only to say goodbye. They also kept our backpacks during our trip to Cambodia. House is just 3 minutes walking to KhaoSan street -but still far enough to non hearing the noise at nights- , and 12 mins to Grand Palace. Bed comfortable with air-con, and everything very clean. It is a good choice without any doubt.
