Living here is honestly awful. Constantly the management company fails to deliver basic promises. Firstly, there are 4 lifts for every building for tenants. In my building, only one is and has been regularly functional for almost a year. One. If a safety investigation were to take place, this entire condominium would be flagged as unsafe just because of how long it would take to exit. Imagine if someone requires medical attention and it takes them 10 minutes (real time to wait for a lift) just to leave the building itself. Furthermore, elevators have been falling around 3 floors regularly over the last two weeks. I would not be complaining through a review if the management had taken steps to meet our needs but as you can see I am in fact writing this review. The management has pushed back initiatives to repair our lifts and mind you we have lived here for around a year now and in our time a maximum of 3 lifts have worked which only lasted around two weeks. Do not move in here and do not waste your money here because the management does not care about the tenants nor their well being.

This is a condo where people constantly renovate(the building is very old) and be ready to hear drilling noise all day, ours has been for almost a year. The management can do nothing about it even though polite complaints are made and it says it is pet friendly but how is a pet supposed to live somewhere where there’s always loud construction work?
There is no solution which they can offer so it’s your problem at the end of the day, see if you want to go out or go work in a co-working space because the noise is unbearable, they will pretend you have never complained.
Instead of solving plumbing issues and do the necessary work to make it good to live in, they will paint the building to try to make it look new instead.
Nothing can be used at the moment, pool is closed, there are abandoned recreational places which are ready to fall any minute, people keep repairing and renovating their units with no rules for the noise to be made and there’s a reason why there are so many units empty and that everyone is posting about selling/renting their units.
The staff is very nice and always ready to help but there’s only so much they can do when the problem is with the building’s management itself.
Beware of dishonest landlords too which is an issue a lot of people renting here and who left complained about because they will try to put the cost of their unit being old as if they had a brand new unit and try to take it out of your deposit. So plan for a lawyer fees too if you want to leave due to unbearable conditions to live it and still have a fair chance at getting your deposit back.

Stayed there for almost 3 years.
Was a great and quiet tenant.
Took care of the unit but as its an old building , a lot of things fell appart. I had 5000 baht water bills for no reason that the owner refuse to fix or cover even tho i was living alone. To make it even worse. The owner kept my security deposit of 116 000 baht. Blamed me for natural old units broken stuff like tiles. Shameful
Never stay or rent in 42B oak tower.

Presented ourself at the reception to enquire about apartments for rent.
We were turned away like schoolchildren by the three staff sitting at the desk. A very rare attitude in Thailand.
