Tara Garden in Bangkok

We checked in at around 2:00 AM due to a delayed flight. As we were very tired, we were looking forward to resting immediately upon arrival. Unfortunately, when we entered our room, we encountered several issues. The keycard was not working properly, the kettle was not functioning, and there was no internet connection. We also noticed that there was no phone in the room, which made it difficult to contact reception. Since our room was located on the 5th floor and we were extremely exhausted, we decided to rest and address the concerns later.Additionally, I informed the night reception staff that one of my family members was unable to arrive due to sickness. I kindly requested consideration for a complimentary late check-out until 3:00 PM. She offered one hour free, which I appreciate. However, when I asked if it could be extended free of charge considering one guest did not arrive, I was informed that we would need to pay an additional 200. While I understand that policies must be followed and we were willing to pay, I would have appreciated a more customer-service-oriented response, such as offering to note my request and consult with a supervisor before giving a final answer. .
On a positive note, I would like to sincerely thank the front desk lady on duty in the morning (wearing eyeglasses). She was very helpful and even came to our room personally to check the internet connection. She stayed until the issue was fully resolved, which we truly appreciated.

Shower stopped working. Internet signal extremely weak. Elevator not stopping on my floor. I have stayed here before but this was a disaster!

The beds are firm but tolerable and some pillows okay while others are not. The tap on the basin feels like it's about to fall off. The basin and shower drains were both blocked and smelly. I asked for them to be cleared but no one came. In fact, the room wasn't even cleaned. However, the pool is fine and there are some excellent restaurants around the corner.
