The room condition was really excellent! It would be even better if the breakfast offered more variety. Its proximity to the Erawan Shrine, major shopping malls, and supermarkets makes it super convenient for shopping and dining. Getting to Suvarnabhumi Airport takes about 40 minutes, so the transportation is also fine.

The location is great, very convenient for transport as it's close to both Nana and Sukhumvit stations. There's a Let's Relax spa right downstairs, two 7-Elevens nearby, and Terminal 21 is just about a 10-minute walk away. We needed a hotel close to the Krung Thep Apiwat Train station and picked this one based on other guest reviews plus the location and we were positively surprised by the high standard, friendly staff and very comfortable beds. We always enjoy our stay at Hotel Royal Bangkok. It's so so so convenient with the happenings in Chinatown just below the hotel. There is not much noise travelling into the room. We will return again to stay in this hotel. The service from the counter staff was always great.

Hotel can be reached only by car. Room is quite comfortable. Chair in room was too old that once you sit, the sponge in it will automatically fall down. Checked in was made almost mid night but they still have staff at counter. At that time staff fell asleep at counter but immediately woke up once you call.

Overall, the hotel was pretty good. The location is not too far from Khao San Road and the Grand Palace, and it's relatively convenient to get to ICONSIAM and the Jodd Fairs Rama IX night market.
