Thapae Place Hotel in Chiang Mai City

Room cleaning was very poor, air conditioning was  working but not effective  cooling. We have booked 4 nights but due to poor conditions, we moved out to other hotel.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at! First off, the bathroom was incredibly basic, like something unfinished. The sink only had cold water, and the water heater was so rudimentary that the water pressure was tiny, making showers a miserable experience. Plus, there was no exhaust fan in the toilet, so after a shower, everything was foggy. After a 'number two,' you practically couldn't breathe.

Secondly, this hotel didn't even provide basic disposable slippers or toothbrushes! We were so tired on the first night, we had to make two trips to 7-Eleven just to buy essentials! The bath towels had yellow stains all over them; I don't even know if they wash them after guests leave.

Finally, and this is just outrageous, the cleaning service was incredibly unprofessional. They actually threw dirty towels right into our open suitcase! And for used tea bags, instead of refilling with new ones, they put the used tea bag wrappers back as if they were new! Excuse me? Do they think we're stupid?

In short, I'm telling everyone I can to avoid this place. Run for your lives!
