A truly lovely stay. The owner is amazing and goes above and beyond to make everything perfect. He even shared great local tips, including where to have items like shoes repaired. The hotel is absolutely spotless — incredibly clean — and somehow even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. Highly recommended.

Stayed here on my birthday and wish I would’ve found this gem weeks ago. Super comfy bed with great wifi, a cute balcony across from a good coffee house and superb hospitality.

Very friendly and kind staff, always smiling! The whole place is sparkling clean and the room is spacious and comfortable!

There are drink shops and small restaurants nearby. If you don’t mind a little bit walk, it is just 10mins walk away from Chiang Mai Gate, where you enter the old town so easily!

This hotel is extreamly cozy and feels like home! We really enjoy this quiet place, clean room, the decorations and furniture are in northern Thai style and we really love it! The staffs are fantastic, they give the feeling like we are member of their family.

My husband forgot the phone in the safety box, we realized again when were at the airport, the owner delivered the phone to Bangkok by post for free, although we asked for his bank account, he said it's fine. How sweet they are! We will definitely come back!

Ps. If you are a cat lover, you will love the owner's cat, he is quite big and cutiest!

Wonderful personalized service! This hotel is a gem, it is clean, well-planned and maintained. And they also have free bikes, so you could use them to explore the old city.
But what was the most important thing for us there is a help we got from the owner. He is super informative and helpful, he managed to negotiate daily tours price with agencies and then he kindly followed-up with us after check-out to make sure we got to airport.

Fabulous hotel in a quiet neighborhood in Chiang Mai. This is our first time visiting and we’re so happy we chose Wualai Sabaidee. The staff is extremely welcoming and kind. They provided sight seeing recs, laundry service across the street, and are helping us get a taxi early in the morning for our next flight. The continental breakfast is tasty and there is 24-7 coffee and tea in the lobby! You can rent bikes for free as well. We love relaxing in their front patio as it is so cozy and quiet. I highly recommend booking this hotel for your stay!

Great place, well maintained, nothing major with the property, kettle wouldn't turn off and the safe was already locked in with a code. However I'm sure if I said anything they would have fixed it.

The staff there are incredibly polite and hospitable, I decided to stay there so I could reset after a few days of travelling and I could not have been more comfortable.

Being the first place I stayed in within Chiang Mai they really have set a standard that I don't think any other place can compete with, I would recommend this place to any would be traveller and have gone to extent of reviewing it on every possible platform to ensure this place gets the business it deserves.
