Felt like returning home. First since lockdowns, the hosts John and Jaae provide a warm welcome and a wealth of local knowledge should you need it. The rooms are serviced daily and a water station is available plus daily water in your room. Cool neighborhood in the Old City.

A very good environment

The advantage is that breakfast is provided. The room has some necessities, which is considered a basic accommodation that should have. The room is not too small, not too big, and not old. The service staff when checking in are very welcoming (the foreigner) because he is the one who came out to greet us. The disadvantage is that there is no parking for cars, but the details state that there is. The alley is very narrow, not recommended for people with cars. The room is not soundproof. There is no elevator. I happened to have personal matters that made me have to check out late (partly because the alley is very narrow and there is no parking for customers. We followed the legal procedures and are 100% the injured party. It took a long time to finish the matter, so we arrived very late because we had to deal with the problem that occurred). As a result, I was very tired and by the time I finished cleaning up, it was past check-out time. This part is 100% wrong, there is nothing to excuse. But one thing that I really didn't like was the husband of the foreign owner. When he knocked, he called me "Yulet". He spoke very badly, knocked until the door almost broke, knocked non-stop, shouted as if there was a fight, and used very rude words, such as **** off and blah blah blah, instead of speaking nicely, "You're late," and if you're late, you'll be fined. I will add another day, blah blah blah. I accept it without any negotiation because it was really my fault. In this part, he did speak, but he used a shouting tone and shouted non-stop, while emphasizing the word **** off a lot. In total, it was about 20 minutes late, or at most 40 minutes, including walking down the stairs and listening to him shout non-stop, plus when checking out. To sum up, this is the end of my sincere review. The customer was wrong. Let the customer take responsibility for the wrong part. There will be no bad comments. But if the service is rude, I would like you to improve it.

We had a great stay at sleep guest house, which is managed by a lovely couple! The rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and bars.
The hosts, John and Jae , gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants, they helped us book a cooking class and Chiang Rai temples tour and both were good, the cooking class with Basil Cookery School was exceptional actually. They also allowed us to eat our leftovers from the class by using the hotel kitchen.

The owners were really friendly and the breakfast was really delicious.
There are many good restaurants and pretty cafes around.
The sunflower shower in the shower room was a little inconvenient.

My favourite place I've stayed probably ever. The service we received was outstanding and unbelievably good at this price point. The breakfast was great and the staff are super nice and helpful. Couldn't beat it with a big stick! Huge thanks!

I can not recommend this spot highly enough! The rooms are stylish and spotless, rates are quite affordable, and location couldn't be better--quiet but in the middle of all the great stuff. Jon and Jaae are fantastic hosts. They set me up with rides to local spots, as I didn't have Grab and gave me great recommendations on recreation. Unbeatable place to stay and fantastic hosts!

We had a lovely stay at this guesthouse right in the middle of the old town of Chiang Mai. Rooms are comfortabel and decorated a bit quirky :-). The owners are very helpful and friendly and go to any length to assist you. Lovely breakfast at the courtyard, very tasteful and peaceful.
