Hotel opened in 2003, renovated in 2008. In this hotel 48 rooms, 1 floor.

Policies and conditions

Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 5 years old stay for free when using an existing bed.
Children from 6 years old to 11 years old stay for THB 200 per person per night when using an existing bed.
People 12 years old and over stay for THB 450 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
No cots are available.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
Pets are not allowed.

We came specifically to experience the night market which is well lit up, safe for tourist and lots of choices for food and entertainment. Outside this area on the main road, there are also lots of places on both sides of the road. One could easily spend 3-4 hours easily
It was a great experience.
Grab was easy to use as a means of transportation.

Great place you can buy almost anything mostly ladies fake bags fake football shirts be prepared to barter can always knock off 100 to 200 baht little restaurants at the back decent prices go to place for gifts to take home shells magnets etc 😀

Good selection of food and other crafts/souveneirs. I found it all relatively well priced. It was very hot though so I recommend bringing a small fan.

At 7pm on a Saturday, didn't expect it to be 0 crowds. The bazaar seemed dead, and all the chain hotel brands built around this area are like relics of the past. They probably built their hotels when the bazaar was bustling, but it's 2025 and tourist and local behaviors have changed.

Had a good stay here in December 2020. Shower was hot. TV had enough channels in English. Room was clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was served to the room because there were so few guests, and they accommodated us as vegetarians with fruit, toast, salad and coffee, which was very nice.

Great location, right in the centre of Chiang-mai night bazaar.
Lots of shops near by.
Hotel staff were very friendly and polite.
Rooms a little dated but clean.
Massage parlor next to the reception and very cheap too.
One hour Thai massage 150฿.
I would stay here again.

Huge market with a big food area to eat and drink with music and lights. Lots of stalls and easy to barter but a lot of the product is repeated.

Checked in.... Checked out within 5 minutes... no safe.. old room... smelly room.. damp room...
The staff where very nice but still got charge 1 night stay... I wouldn't put my dog in it

It's huge, there is so much for sale and the stall owners do the hassle the tourists like in Bangkok. There is a lot of repeated items and lots of mosquitoes. The food is great but if you're vegetarian then maybe eat before you get there, there are some choices but not many.i would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Trace Hotelistro blew me away! The hotel design, the chill vibes, and the amazing staff were all incredible, and I wish we could have stayed longer than just one night.

Our room couldn't have been more perfect. The bed was so comfy that we didn't even want to go out to explore, and the balcony was an awesome bonus. The staff were also some of the nicest people we've encountered at any hotel, so we will be recommending this place to everyone we meet. If you stay, make sure to get smoothie bowl in the morning, because they are out-of-this-world amazing. I got the Lychee berry one and can 100% recommend it.

Thanks for a wonderful last night in Thailand, and we will definitely be back in the future!

Great community feel here, with great Smoothie Bowls and Thai-inspired cocktails! The rooms are super comfortable and minimalist which is what you need in Chiang Mai. Close to everything so relevance. Definitely 5 stars!!

I had a great time at Trace. Everything was just perfect. The bedrooms are very clean, and so beuatiful! It is a quite place, with a lovely staff. Trace is close to the night bazaar. They also have Smoothie bowls and cocktails that are just amazing! If you are going to Chiang Mai, i would definitely recommend to stay in Trace Hotelistro.

We went for a cocktail night, but we couldn't resist to try their amazing smoothie bowls! Make yourself a favour and try the snickers smoothie bowl, it's so good! 😍 The environment is super cozy and picturesque and the bartender was really nice. The prices are affordable. The cocktails are super different of what we are used to, but that's what made the experience so fun at this bar! My favourite cocktail was the "Miss..." (the orange one), with a strong cinnamon flavour. The cocktails' presentation was so beautiful (as you can see by the photos). Totally recommend!

The design here is beautiful. It feels rustic and contemporary, as the owner converted a 150 year old bakery into a hostel. If you're looking for a place that has character, look no further. The quaint jazz bar and restaurant below are an added bonus. In between the night bazaar and the old city, it is an ideal location.
