Chiangmai Inn in Chiang Mai City

Great location!

It's very clean. During the day, there's a Chinese-speaking girl at the front desk, and at night, it's a Thai-speaking guy. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable, I really loved it! It's a shame I only booked two nights. It's perfect for a long-term stay, although the check-in process at the front desk was a bit confusing, haha.

We had to shorten our stay. The room didn’t look very much like in the pictures, and there was no door for the bathroom, just a curtain. There was also an extremely loud Chinese group, doing some sort of team building in the lobby, making the stay pretty unpleasant. I

It was a perfect location for that part of my holiday.good size room, shower ok and the bedd were comfortable.

Great hotel near old town. The location is very convenient and easy to find nearby restaurants and markets. It's mostly a Chinese digital nomad community but of course anyone can stay there and enjoy. The staff are helpful, quick to respond, and kind. The hotel provides tea/coffee in the morning which is nice. They have a kitchen, laundry machines, and working areas. The room is good, they provide basic necessities like soap, AC, water bottles, etc. Other guests staying there are very nice too. The community usually has daily events you can join. I'll also miss their dog, lucky! Thanks for the great memories!

The rooms were clean, at a reasonable walking distance from good spots. The room had all the amenities. We read a few reviews they mentioned about curtains as separators between the Room and Bathroom, but we were provided with a room that had a wooden gate, which was good. At certain areas we saw a little dampness on the ceiling. So overall a decent stay. Recommended if you are looking for a decent stay at a reasonable stay.

Great quiet place, good Location and very friendly staff, nice small community

The location is perfect.
There is a good washing-machine which you can use for free.
Good shower, but there is no door in the bathroom/toilet only a curtain (which did affect your privacy and the airco blows in the shower).
Staff is friendly.
We hung the please clean the room sign on our door, but unfortunately the room was not cleaned.

In the lobby, you can indulge in entertainment options like Netflix, HBO, and even play PlayStation 5. The staff, maintaining a warm and familial relationship, fosters a remarkable unity within the team; there's no sign of office politics.

The only somber note is when long-term residents must bid farewell and move on. You've formed deep and lasting friendships with these individuals, just like those I've recently said goodbye to. Within this community, you'll also find people who've contributed to modern technology and achieved substantial success. It's an environment where some have truly discovered the essence of community. A touch of modern decoration, perhaps some Lego-inspired elements, could inexpensively elevate the ambiance.

The Chiang Mai Inn enjoys the advantage of being both tranquil and strategically located close to local amenities. If you have a sizable vehicle, there's a large parking lot within walking distance. Stepping out the front gate, you'll discover vibrant markets and delightful breakfast options. The late-night scene is particularly vibrant, especially to the right, where other residences add a touch of lively commotion.

Venturing down the back road leads to an underground club, bustling with activity between 3-5 in the morning. Additionally, you can explore vintage markets and charming coffee shops. At 6:40 in the morning, as the temperature reaches perfection, it's as if nature itself is awakening. I intend to indulge in these natural sounds for a while and keep you informed about the intriguing developments at The Chiang Mai Inn."
