Oasis Resort in Krabi City

We didn’t have high expectations, but what we got was an absolute nightmare.

During our stay, the staff was hardly available, and when they were, they were incredibly lazy and showed very little willingness to solve any problems. The reception was rarely staffed, and their approach was extremely unprofessional.

It started with a completely dirty floor in our room. Then we noticed ants. We told ourselves that for that price, we could manage one night. After we reported it, someone came to spray the ants, but the dead insects were left in the room without being cleaned up.

What happened next was the final straw – we found cockroaches in the room. When we reported it and asked how they planned to resolve the situation, we were told (and I quote): “THE HOUSEKEEPER CLEANED ALL THE ROOMS PROPERLY.” We were offered another room, which was exactly the same. No real solution, no apology, no effort to fix the situation.

All of this happened within less than an hour. Absolutely disgusting.

After this experience, we decided to leave – of course without any offer or suggestion of a refund.

Definitely do NOT recommend!!!

Barbed wire outside our window, flies everywhere, broken drinking glasses in the room...
Our bedding was so stained, threadbare and gross, we went out and bought our own pillows and sheets. The whole place was disgusting so we cleaned it with antiseptic wipes before using anything. The air conditioning unit broke halfway through our stay so it was really hot.
No room cleaning. When we asked about this, we were met with a pretty angry response saying we should ask for this each day. So, despite this being an advertised feature, you don't get your bins emptied or room cleaned, fresh towels etc. unless you ask.
You can also hear everything your neighbour is doing and I do mean everything.
