Hostels in Patong

The hotel is cool and youthful, but there are a lot of stoned and noisy Indians, it is not safe for girls since there is only 1 security guard and there are a lot of drunks. Breakfasts are good, the rooms are clean, there is a lot of entertainment

This is a hostel with a predominantly white, community-oriented vibe. It has all the basic amenities. If you're fluent in English, love party culture, and are an extrovert, this place is perfect for you. Of course, it also helps if you have plenty of money, as a scoop of protein powder here is 100 RMB, and just adding water costs another 100 RMB. If you're like me and mishear 'Sea Side' as 'cigarette...

Great service, bed pillow are comfortable, close to the beach, 500 m to Junceylon and Bangla Road. We enjoyed our stay at Lub d Patong

Centrally located in Patong. Easy access to beaches and nightlife areas. The hostel cafe is absolute mug off setup for tourists, better go 7/11 for great drinks. Although activities in the hostel are good.

The hotel's location is excellent — just a three-minute walk from the airport shuttle and five minutes from the beach. Next to the hotel, there are convenience stores, restaurants, and massage shops. The atmosphere at the hotel is wonderful, with many international guests greeting and chatting friendly. The front desk arranged the check-in quickly. I stayed in an upper bunk, which was easy to climb...

There is no doubt it’s a best hostel i have ever stayed. Room was great .has balcony. I love to stay there . You can meet lots of people from different countries. They organised varieties parties every week.

The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the air conditioning worked perfectly throughout our stay. Occasionally, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the drainage system, which was a bit uncomfortable. However, the location was excellent and very convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a good stay with just a minor issue.

The hotel rooms, the hotel area, and the shopping mall downstairs – everything is very beautiful. The hotel is truly wonderful. Anyone who visits Phuket should definitely experience this hotel.

Receptionist behaviour is too good...service is very good

Best for Backpackers... Hostel is located just opp to patong beach

Close to the beach. wifi is weak and it is usable level in the common space of the first floor. The ceiling is too low to sit in the upper part of the bunk bed. Because it is along the beach, there is only a restaurant for tourists.

Very close to the beach and Bangla street. But it's still not noises from the street in the room. The Wi-Fi is great and the room is clean. So for that price it is a good budget alternative.

Location Excellent because opposite to beach and near to Patong/Phuket Walking Street. Bangla Road is 300m. Airport bus in front of hostel. Lot of foods, massage, clubs here

We are a group of 4 Girls and we had a great time at the Hostel! The rooms were very nice and the staff was really friendly! We met Kek there (he is the Barkeeper) and went out with him and we had such a fun time!

I can't say enough great things about Bear Packer hostel. I am so glad that we decided to choose this one, over the money other options in the area. The location could not be more convenient. We are directly across the street from the beach and tons of stores, including the essential 711 lol, dining activities and fun are literally surrounding us. The staff here is SO friendly, and they have been...

Had an incredible stay here with my boyfriend from 12/31-1/4. We immediately were greeted by the ladies at the front and the check in process was very smooth. Make sure you have Baht for your deposit. We stayed in a private room/bathroom. Perfect amount of space, great AC, plenty of clothing storage, a mini fridge, and a safe (which we were super pleased about) is provided. Overall we were very satisfied...

Though the room size is small, rooms are pretty neat and clean, kudos to their no shoes policy. One thing was that even the drinking water is not free and you have to pay for drinking water in the hostel. Cozy vibe overall and not loud.

Bear Packer: A Highly Recommended Stay My recent stay at Bear Packer was truly delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the cleanliness of the entire facility. Everything was well-maintained and impeccably clean, contributing to a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. Rain, in...

Nothing good here!! Everything bad and over priced!!

As a place to get your head down near Bangla Road 10/10.

Good air-conditioning, ideal location for partying, right on main *****, if u r self driving..... stop at daysinn and walk bike along! Staff freindly, good for being right in middle so value for that

The hostel is good , it have the best location in Patong , service very good

The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The beds are a bit old and the room feels kind of crowded. The price was almost the half of other places.

Not a bad stay considering it's a hostel, but not worth the price. At 3,335thb for a night, there are much better hotels for the same or cheaper. Bed was good, but toilet leaked. Bathroom floor was constantly wet no matter what we did and the blankets had some small stains on them. If you can get this place for a good price, it's worth it, but not at that price.

Such a great hostel. For under 400 baht (12usd) you get a bed with a curtain and free coffee, purified water, and basic breakfast. I turned over the bed to look for bedbugs and there we NONE. This hostel was cleaner than my bougie expensive hotel in Bangkok. Always bring earplugs because you're right next to the craziest street in the world. Each bed has an outlet, shelf, light, and a lockable...

Small Hostel but located just besides of patong beach and Bangla walking street. Nice and friendly receptionists (Most of them!) . Small dining space but you can enjoy and chit-chat with other people. Nice privacy arrangements and you can find your locker with your bed. I think bathroom should be more clean and the AC of my room was not ok. Its tipping some water from it. Overall recommended.

Great location, friendly staff. Made lots of new friends on the first night. Beds have curtains so it's almost like a private Pod. Private outlets and cubbies you can lock. Washing machines available for use. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend!!

By far the nicest hostel I have stayed at in Thailand- clean, modern bathrooms, wide open social space, privacy curtains in the shared dorms, and large lockers able to fit a regular-sized backpack or bag. The staff is friendly and there is even a fridge full of beer for sale in the common areas. It's an excellent place to meet new friends, even in the low season (stayed in early Aug for reference)...

I don’t usually write reviews but this place blew my mind away. As a 19 year old solo traveler on his first trip, I was a little intimidated by the idea of traveling alone. But the atmosphere was amazing and I met so many people whom I consider friends now. It’s close to the action without it being too loud. I wished I could stay longer but the hostel maximized my time and enjoyment in Patong.

Absolutely loved this place. I’ve seen a good amount of hostels and this one might be my favorite. Only negative thing I could say is no kitchen but Thailand is so cheap that is doesn’t really matter. The rooms were good and bed sheets got changed daily!!!! Also the staff was amazing, everyone was so kind and helpful. My favorite thing was the vibe there. You walk in and you feel at home. I went knowing...

Literally the best hostel I’ve stayed at. Staff was phenomenal, friendly, helpful. 100% dedicated to making sure their guests have the best experience. Other travellers were friendly and inclusive. Within 10 min of being in the lobby, I was playing a drinking game with 6 other people who went out dancing with me all night. Clean facilities, cheap drinks, good food. What more could you ask for?

Great place to stay at. Great location. Very helpful staff

The 4 person dorm room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is great if you are looking to party on Bangla road and there is a beach nearby. Most of the staff didn't seem to bother how guests were doing but a few of them seemed pretty interested in making sure you had a good time.

Location is good, room was clean. Staff are a little absent and it was difficult to find anyone at reception.

Best place to stay for international young tourists. Place has amazing vibe, so many activities in the lobby area to keep you busy. They have open gym, bouldering wall, table tennis, pool table, swimming pool and an amazing cafe right beside the pool. Service is too good. Location is just the best, you have 3 seven-11 next to Lubd, and it’s just few steps away from Patong beach!! This is definitely...

I stayed in a dorm room here and had a great experience overall. The dorm was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, with a good atmosphere for meeting other travelers. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, especially Yaya, who was very welcoming and made check-in smooth. I also joined the pub crawl, and the guide did an excellent job leading the group — fun, well-organized, and made everyone...

This was my first ever hostel to stay in so I was definitely nervous initially to see what it would really be like especially the cleanliness. Let me say I was greatly impressed and thankful that it was a very decent stay! They do a great job keeping it clean. The bedding was good and clean and the showers were pretty clean and water is hot which was great. I was only there for two nights and on the...

We absolutely love Lub d! The rooms are super clean and very well equipped, which immediately makes you feel comfortable. The location is central but still quiet. You meet amazing people here, there are plenty of activities, and it never gets boring ☺️ There’s also a great co-working space, which was a big plus as we are working remotely. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and always makes...

Our stay at Lub d Patong was a very positive experience overall. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm and the first thing that stood out was how clean and well maintained everything was. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the washrooms were consistently neat, which really matters when you are staying in a dorm. The common areas were another highlight. The lounges had a nice, relaxed vibe...

One of the best if not the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at! Feels more like a hotel than a hostel. Super friendly staff. Great location and clean! Definitely a must stay if you want to make new friends

The staff is really lovely and helpful and the room are good for the price. 15 minutes by foot from the main street.

Lovely staff, good prices and good location in Patong (not far from the parties but not in the middle of the crowd).
