The room was okay, but it was incredibly noisy with poor soundproofing. The shower in the bathroom had low water pressure and wasn't warm enough, making for a cold shower. Breakfast had very few options and didn't taste good. However, the location was great, very close to Big C and Banzaan Seafood Market, both within a 10-minute walk.

Another stay at BYD, and this time I opted for the 100-square-meter suite. The spaciousness is perfect for families traveling with children, especially with lots of luggage and the need to wash and dry clothes after a day out at sea. This amount of space definitely meets our needs.

Unfortunately I didn’t get the same experience as all the positive reviews, broken tv, broken 27 degrees aircon, broken toilet flush, minimal water pressure, mouldy water damaged entire roof, so much internal noise. Friendly staff but the accommodation wasn’t up to standard or as advertised.

First of all, the staff is so sweet and friendly. They took care of every request we had. The rooms are really clean and spacious. There's a Turkish restaurant at the hotel entrance, and the food was delicious. It's definitely one of the best hotels in this location.

Beautifully laid out hotel rooms and friendly attentive staff with very generous breakfast. I had a corner room on the 4th floor overlooking the pier and bay, with a stunning bathroom and my own balcony, mini fridge and microwave. I suspect like most places in Patong you may want to bring earplugs (or stay out late) as the trade off is street noise at night and loud music coming from vehicles and partiers...

Excellent location, the room allocated is far from the passenger lift. Some renovation work is ongoing next door from 12am to 4am, and knocking noises interrupted sleep.

As a solo traveller I recommend this hotel instead of staying in a hostel. You get your own privacy for the hostel price. The room has everything you need for a short stay. It’s a bit dated but my room was clean and smells really nice. It’s got a mini bar for a fee. The room felt a bit dark and it was a bit noisy but overall I don’t mind for the price that I paid.

Honestly, I don't understand the negative comments. I came by spontaneously because my old hotel was already full, and the lady was really nice. She showed me three rooms and gave me a good price. I'm pretty happy with the room. The shower is modern, there's a safe in the room and a small couch. The air conditioning works, too. The window opens wide and is perfect for smoking.
