Balcony Hostel Patong in Patong

At first when we checked in staff was helpful. The first problem was miscommunication on price of ferries. On their site they posted the price of 300, I also emailed them to confirm the times and price and they told me 7am and 300. When I arrived they said it’s 400 total with the shuttle to ferry. This is ok but why did they never mention the extra 100 on their site or emails. Also the ferry does not leave at 7 but the shuttle does and ferry at 830. I planned my route around their information they gave, but they did not explain well. Next we checked in and were told to take any bed in the dorm. We picked our beds and later returned to find all our things moved by other guests, they later said no we have assigned beds, which is ok but why say any bed before? I asked about a motorbike and additional costs of damages, the lady working said no extra, scratch ok. We didn’t get a bike but later heard another staff explain to customer if they scratch they have to pay (like most places) so I don’t know why they keep giving wrong information. Overall the place was average but the information and service was poor. When we checked out and took our shuttle to the ferry we booked with them, for some reason they put another guest going to the airport on our shuttle for 9 people going to the ferry. The shuttle stopped for 30 minutes to try to find the 1 guy a taxi to airport, I don’t understand why 9 people have to miss their ferry for one person but this is what happened. We caught the next ferry but now our travel plans are all cut short not to mention the ferry was also a longer journey then they originally told us. Stay here for budget accommodation but don’t book anything with them.

It just gets better, as we arrive to phi phi, our ticket we purchased from them was for 1030 am when they told us it was 9am. See the picture below! I

Extremely unprofessional! In spite of the booking on phone for after midnight check-in, the staff didn't wait for us to arrive. Our flight got delayed and when we reached, the hostel entry gate was closed and no response to phone calls as well. We were stranded on the road for 2 hours in the middle of the night before we found a much better hotel nearby who allowed us to check-in without reservation!

Absolute unprofessional idiots.
Specially called 3 times & confirmed. Spoke to Keb/Ken. We will be coming at 2.30am-3am.
When we reached, the door was locked & nobody was picking up the phone.
After reading other reviews & speaking to them thought that they understand English, but don't know anything more than basic hello, hai etc.
