Check-in for single rooms was incredibly slow. This hotel had the most Chinese guests I've seen. The environment was lovely, but a 'sea view room' with an obstructed view isn't really a sea view, so I'm glad they changed it for me. At breakfast, the table I was assigned was already taken. Traveling as a family of five, we had to book two rooms. The hotel rooms were even worse than a budget hotel like Home Inn in China, but we tolerated it for the proximity to Karon Beach. I've stayed at Katabamgo before, and while it definitely offers better value for money, I still prefer Orchid because it's much closer to Karon Beach, and Karon Beach itself is more beautiful.

Pros: Has a private beach, and the sea is clean and beautiful, allowing you to avoid the crowds. Cons: 1. Check-in was quite slow. I arrived at 3 PM to check in, but wasn't informed that my room was ready until around 3:40 PM. 2. The location is a bit secluded, with not much to see or do nearby.

The only good thing about this place is its proximity to the beach; everything else is pretty mediocre. The room smells bad. There is a musty smell. The air conditioner is very noisy and I can't turn on the air conditioner while opening the door. The air conditioner broke down on the last day.

We upgraded to a room with direct pool access, which they offered upon check-in. The hotel is spotless, with friendly and efficient staff. You cannot get much closer to the beach or the main street for the shops and restaurants, but there was no noise to be heard. WE WOULD BOOK AGAIN WITHOUT A DOUBT.

Excellent location. Beach front. Doesn’t get much better than this. Near restaurants and other stores, and a short walk to the Kata Walking Street. Will stay here again if I come to Puket again. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good as well. I had a great stay at Beyond Karon.

Beyond Karon We stayed at Beyond Karon for one week in January 2026 and it was wonderful. Staff so friendly and helpful in reception, breakfast and restaurant. A Wonderful beach holiday from 30th December to 05th January 2026! The location is stunning, with a beautiful view overlooking Karon beach. Our assigned room was lovely and comfortable, featuring a fantastic walk-in shower. The cleanliness of both the room and the common areas was superb. There are two pools equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, and I loved the pool bar, which allowed us to enjoy...

The room offers a fantastic sea view, and the swimming pool is right by the ocean. You're literally stepping out onto the beach. Even breakfast comes with a sea view! I just wanted to stay in the hotel all day, it put me in such a great mood.

The best hotel in Phuket! No crowds, all the activities are nearby. Rooms are clean, staff is helpful. Breakfast is good. Sea view from the room is the best part 😍

Great hotel and fantastic location! Short walk away from Kata but still quite a lot of stores close by such as 7/11 right next door and a good dispensary across the road if you want to partake in the greenery. Pool room is a MUST if you enjoy using the pool though as the hotel doesn't have a sunlounge reserving policy so I observed many people putting towels on them ones around the main pool early...

The building is extremely old and poorly maintained, with visible damage everywhere. The room had a constant damp and musty smell. The bed, pillows, and sheets also smelled heavily of humidity, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. We chose this hotel because of its location and the positive reviews, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience for us.

The room is different from the photo posted online and totally far from the reception.

A very good stay. It's super convenient, just across a small road from the beach. I stayed for one night. Luggage storage is available, and breakfast was decent. An airport bus stop is just a short walk away.

Everything is very good, but there is a loud noise when the toilet in the next room flushes.

The hotel is conveniently located near the beach and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The only negative was that I did not get a Seaview room and had a direct view of the next door hotel rooms Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again.

The staff are very friendly, helpful and offer great hospitality. The rooms are cleaned every day and the pool is always refreshing. The breakfast can be a bit better, but otherwise this is a great place.
