I've just got back from pleasant stay at the Alkan. It's located on a busy road, one block back from beach, with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. We were road side, but didn't experience any noise. Breakfast is limited, but I was quite happy with toast & coffee. The pool area is nice and the rooms are clean, if a little dated. Reception & bar staff were lovely & friendly

Unfortunately our experience at this hotel was disappointing. We had booked a package that included breakfast, yet every morning we felt unwelcome when going to eat . The staff made it seem like we were asking for something extra, even though it was clearly included. Their attitude was unprofessional and made us uncomfortable.

This hotel is actually quite fab. It's a short walk to the beach. The staff are friendly. The food is nice. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. I would have given this hotel more stars but there was a couple of negative niggles. The balcony has no hanging equipment like a pole or anything. So you have no where to hang costumes and towels. There is no table either, so you can't sit...

Hotel was nothing like the pictures I saw. Had to move room a few times. Staff were fantastic. Cleaners weren't good at all. Asking for tips and hadn't even left clean towels or a toilet rolls. To buy a meal in here was great value, and very tasty. Great chef.

Stopped here for a drink,lovely staff next to canal great for a chilled out holiday, had a tour by manager,lovely peaceful place,I would stay here next time.

Did not stay here but went in for some drinks. Very attractive clean hotel with well priced drinks on offer. Staff friendly and not pushy. Just off the main street so it was nice and quiet. Go there every time we are in Turunc. Worth a visit.
