Dirty hotel, downgraded me a few hours before checkin

It was an amazing night at Arart hotel. It's placed at the center of Istanbul and very heavy part of taksim. So it's not possible to expect a silent atmosphere, but the room was quite well though. It was a little room where every corner has been used well for your needs. Shower was strong and hot, TV was need to arranged. Small fridge was suitable for drinks. Next morning we took our breakfast at their partner for breakfast avam kahvesi, which I can say was the best part of the stay..nice Turkish breakfast along espresso varieties. We loved our stay.

This hotel is more like Airbnb, No one at the reception, AC, radiator and TV doesn’t work, TV was switching on but had no english channels or internet, no one at the front desk to help/guide you, no lift in 4 floor building, I didn’t see a single person in my 3 days stay, it seems like i was the only one staying in the whole building. The guy who works in the opposite shop was more helpful than hotel staff
I do not recommend this place
There are better and nicer hotels around this area in the same budget

The hotel's location was great for food and access to Taksim Square. However, the room was tight for a couple. There was no space to put luggage. There is a reception area, but no-one was there the whole we stayed, so when you want to enter, there is a password as the door is always locked. Street noise too was a concern.

We have been to this hotel twice: - excellent location (if you like to walk a lot and uphill) - cozy rooms - stunning view from the window of the Galata Tower - quiet in the room - good cleaning - pleasant polite owner of the hotel Please note: - there is no elevator in the hotel, for some this may be a problem - there is a school next to the hotel, so on weekdays you may be woken up by the sound of a school bell.

Very nice decor, total comfort, very hot water and good heating in winter, cleanliness ensured by a charming housekeeper, superb view if you choose the room at the very top with a balcony, but watch out for the seagulls! Quiet and well-frequented, discreet, no elevator so it's a bit of a workout. Very comfortable bedding. Very friendly and reliable managers. Neighborhood near Taksim Square, which isn't particularly interesting, but located near Istiklal Street, ideal for shopping and good restaurants, and above all, we're in the heart of the Greek-Armenian quarter, with its chic high schools and LGBTQ nightclubs, so lots of lighthearted and friendly encounters. Only one downside: the breakfast room is cramped and the breakfast isn't very good, which is a shame in Turkey! But you can have breakfast at MADO, on Istiklal Street, just around the corner.

The location is ideal! You are close to everything you require, the neighborhood is overcrowded but also very safe. Excellent service, a good breakfast, and clean rooms. Mattresses are exceptionally comfortable!

Only take into account the small size of the room.

Waking up with views of Galata tower right from your bed

Liked · The views from the room with a balcony are stunning! The hotel owner was very friendly and responded to any questions we had via whatsapp 24/7. There is a private car park located right in front of the hotel, which is paid but totally worth the price. The location is great, walking distance from most of the attractions.
