Stayed with the family. Hotel is a hidden jem, staff is great. Service and cleanliness is top notch. I have stayed at the Ritz Carlton and 4 seasons before, service here is similar or even better.
The staff provided everything we wanted for our stay. Orhan and hakan at the front desk were amazing and ready to help with everything. Bosporus view is astonishing and very refreshing. we stayed at sea view room. Hotel has a the best location with a walking distance to most Istanbul attractions and historic site. Great restaurants around with some of the best ones in Istanbul.

Spent a week in Istanbul last year and decided to stay here based off the positive reviews. This place didn’t disappoint. Ideal location by the water, affordable, close to most major attractions (we walked to most) and clean. View from our room wasn’t that great but everything else was perfect.
Love their breakfast, the best we had the entire week.
Staff were very polite, attentive and friendly. Most of them spoke English which was a plus. They gave us suggestions on the best spots to eat and visit and how to get there.

Very beautiful and ideal location with amazing view of the sea. Our stay for 6 nights was joyful by the attention of the amazing staff ( Anas, Harkan, Mustafa, Ahmet, and the rest of the team ). The hotel itself is a boutique hotel, and has its own sense of luxury. The breakfast was served on the 7th floor under the supervision of Mustafa and Ahmet. The front desk lads Anas and Harkan were always there to give recommendations and help when needed. The only downside for our stay is that the hotel is located above a pub and other restaurants with loud music ( it goes down after 12 AM ). Nonetheless, the stay was amazing.

We stayed as a family with two kids in the Jacuzzi Suite, and our experience was truly wonderful.
The location of the hotel is excellent — close to everything and very convenient for families.

What a fantastic find in the heart of Karaköy. Hotel de Reve is nestled in the heart of a busy pedestrian area, surrounded by buzzing bars and cozy cafes. It is easy walking distance to Galata Tower and a reasonable walk (1hr) to the old town, as well as being only 10 minutes walk from one of the main ferry ports. The location is perfect and makes this hotel a steal. The hotel itself is compact with only a small check-in desk nestled into a corner of the ground floor. However, the stunning views and great service at the roof-top bar and restaurant more than make up for a lack of a grand entrance. The rooms are huge, very clean and appear newly renovated. I’m a sucker for a nice bathroom and this hotel did not disappoint. The grand marble bathroom with large wet room shower was exquisite. Finally, the staff were super friendly and warm without being over intrusive, a balance that is not always met. The free welcome drink and room upgrade was the cherry on an already great cake. I highly recommend.

De Reve is quiet...even though it is next to an Irish Pub. The view at breakfast looks over the water and is excellent as is Mustapha, who makes you feel welcome and gives you sight seeing tips. The front desk staff are not as good as i was led to believe. Checkin was great but I asked for an iron which didnt arrive so I asked again and someone forgot. Check out didnt go smoothly. It was Sunday and 3 cruise ships were near by. A staff member helped me get a taxi to Taxsim. I think hotel staff want guests to take the expensive option and get a driver to the airport. The better and cheaper option is to take a Haviast coach.

I went for the cafe, never knew there was a hotel or smth. Anyway, the breakfast was delicious and not overpriced, the Bazlama was juicy and not too heavy for a breakfast. The Meneman and the fries were just so right but i ordered a Flat White but they got me a Cappuccino! They were so lovely though and i enjoyed it💖💖

My husband and I are currently visiting Istanbul and stumbled across this lovely cafe within a 2 minute walk of our hotel. We both got the cheese omelet and it was so delicious!! Very reasonably priced at around 800 Turkish lira for the both of us. Everything even down to the honey and the butter were so fresh and tasted great. Definitely recommend for a quick bite in the morning

We’ve been in Istanbul for five days. This was the best breakfast—authentic Turkish breakfast recommended by a local. It’s on a super cute street under a canopy of umbrellas. We highly recommend!

Very loud on weekends, hard to sleep because of the music from bars around. Room is nice but they barely clean the rooms when you request it. Location is convenient if you don’t worry about the noise on weekends.
