The hotel’s facilities are extremely outdated and of very poor quality. The windows couldn’t close completely, and there were several long hairs on the bedsheets. Even when they brought new ones, they were still covered in various stains. The towels had an indescribable yellow mark on them. When we turned on the air conditioner, it blew out a horrible smell that was suffocating, so we had to turn it off. The breakfast was awful; the fruits were covered in dust, and the scrambled eggs had long hair in them. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, we found that the door opened with just a push, likely because the housekeeping staff didn’t close and lock it properly. The door lock wasn’t working well—you had to slam it shut for it to lock. The hotel claims to be a four-star establishment, which is utterly laughable. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Every word of this is true. If you don’t believe me, feel free to come and experience it for yourself.

It's a good hotel but can become the best if they give some more attention in service respect and care ..waiters and receptionists are good and bad .some have bad attitudes some have good attitudes .Their breakfast is just ok .I can't find half fried eggs which is shocking for me but thanks to the manager he managed it in some time .I request they should add Pakistanis cuisine in their breakfast and dinner menu because many come from that part of the world .give some manners education to staff and all management .money is not the only thing in the world .your attitudes and services counts .

Bad management doesn't respect guest. Room much smaller than advertised.room smells like cigarette smoke also towels smell like cigarette. Breakfast cheap quality. Eggs smell rotten, I couldn't eat them.

The hotel was renovated from an old house, so I can understand that the elevator is small. But I stayed for 2 nights, and there was a dirty snakeskin bag stacked next to the elevator on each floor, which contained the guest room's bedding and towels. It can be seen that the hotel where I stayed used the supplies in these bags, and I felt very uncomfortable.
To take the elevator from the lobby on the first floor to your room, you have to carry your suitcase up half a flight of stairs, which is not friendly to people with limited legs and feet.
The room priced at more than 800 square meters is a triple room with three single beds of 30 square meters, but it should not actually be 30 square meters. On the contrary, it feels very crowded. The toilet is what I am most dissatisfied with. It does not match the picture. It is a small triangular area and there is no shower. There is a feeling of being cheated.

Very bad hotel. Nothing I can say describes my experience.
1- sewage smell all over. Everytime I enter the room, I feel disgusted!
2- bed sheets don’t even fit the bed (as seen in the photo)
3- washroom is very bad and old. Cracks in the ceiling, and lights flickering.
4- breakfast is very bad and old. They re-use the eggs. Scrambled eggs have some kind of liquid in it. And boiled eggs are just reheated from previous day.
5- customer service is very bad.
6- AC doesn’t work well. Took 3 rooms and had AC issues with all rooms.
7- elevator doesn’t even have a close button (because it is broken and didn’t get replaced)
8- hotel all in all is very old.
9- wifi doesn’t work well
If I were to rate it, I would give it a MAX 2 stars. That is if it gets to the 2 star rating. Money is not worth it. And the 4 star hotel rating doesn’t make sense. I would highly not recommend it!

The breakfast was extremely basic, with insects everywhere. Finding something good to eat was nearly impossible. The boiled eggs appeared old and overcooked multiple times. Additionally, the elevator was a constant frustration. Overall, the place is not worth the money paid.

The hotel is located in TalimHane neighbourhood, which is very close to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. TalimHane area is a touristic and safe area and is recommended. The hotel has weak internet and the breakfast is not very detailed. Before the problem happened to my family, my opinion about this hotel was not bad, but a drunk Arab passenger tried to enter our room, and the hotel did not react to this problem, and after a lot of arguing, they moved my room to the upper floors. They transferred my request from the beginning, but they lied to me that they didn't have an empty room. I would like to advise the families that the hotel has no responsibility for your safety, and you should protect yourself if other passengers disturb you. The hotel does not even have a first aid kit.

- Small breakfast area in corner of lobby with very poor choices. (1 kind of sausage, 1 kind of cold bread, 2 types of cheese, no juices, no cornflakes, no pancakes..) Room is very noisy with tiny walls( you can hear every things in the next rooms or street when you want go to sleep) The elevator space is only for 3 people Max. Totally hotel looks old fashioned design. I’ve had experience with 3stars hotel before but believe me, Nova Plaza Park is worst than 3*. + positive: clean room, helpful reception. The hotel location is in a good neighborhood, safe, close to Taksim. فضای خیلی کوچیک صبحانه خوری دقیقا تو خود لابی کنار رسپشن حسابی خورد تو ذوقم. تنوع صبحانه بطرز عجیبی پایین و ضعیفه مثلا نون فقط ۱مدل سرد و بسته بندی شده دارن، یک مدل سوسیس و ۲مدل پنیر، آبمیوه نداره،عسل و مربا و خامه و پنکیک و کُرنفلکس و … نداره. حتی شکر نداره بجاش از این بسته های کوچیک هست که شکرهای داخلش سفت و چسبیده شدهست.(شاید بعد از تورم ترکیه اینجور فقیرانه شده) دیوار اتاقها بشدت نازکه و تمام صداهای بیرون و اتاقهای کناری رو میشنوید. سایز تختهای دونفره ۱۴۰ . آسانسور فقط ۳نفر جا میشن. در کل هتل خیلی کوچیک و قدیمی و خفه ست. من واقعا نمیفهمم چطور ۴ستاره دادن بهش. از مثبتهاش هم میتونم به لوکیشن خیلی خوب و محله ی امنش، تمیز بودن اتاقها و کمک کننده بودن پرسنل بگم.

the hotel has a brilliant location in a pedestrianized street near to taksim square which was very important to me as we had taken our little kid with ourselves and wanted to be near taksim for many reasons. when we arrived in Istanbul in March it was snowing and very cold, i was very concerned that the room may not be warm enough but i was lucky because the heater worked very well and we didnt have any problem. although the room was very small, as i had seen such situation before in another four star hotel, it wasnt a big shuck for me. the price of hotel gives it a good option for passangers and other weak points may not be very important specially for those who want to be outside during the day and jut sleep and take a shower. the bathroom is clean but since i have my own bed sheet i can not comment on the cleanness of bed but bed was small and a bit uncomfortable. the staffs are responsible and changed my room the day after we arrived. all in all, i am happy that we stayed there considering the amount we spent for one week stay in Nova Plaza Park.

I stayed at Nippon Hotel during the end of the year and New Year period. The hotel was fully booked, including many families, yet the overall experience was very good.
The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it fully matched my expectations. Housekeeping and staff support were professional and responsive.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and if something was not available, the staff were willing to accommodate special requests, which was appreciated.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to exchange offices, supermarkets, restaurants, and shisha cafés. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
I wish the hotel continued success.

On the first night, I complained to the hotel because I couldn’t sleep due to the heat (in winter time), I was tired then. They were unable to fix the air conditioner, and next morning I asked to change rooms. They moved us to another room that is smaller, for four people, but with better air conditioning. This means I paid for a Family Deluxe room of 35 m² but had to stay in a room of about 20 m². This experience is bad.
I have stayed at three other hotels in Turkey during this trip, and all of them were good. Only Nippon Hotel made my holiday incomplete. I really regret choosing Nippon Hotel; if I had read other guests’ reviews on Google more carefully, I would not have made this booking.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property is very clean, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcoming fruit plates and Turkish delights, which made the stay feel even more personalized.
The breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection. One of the strongest aspects of the stay was the team at the reception; they were always attentive, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and good hospitality. I would happily consider returning.

Good service overall. In the rooms, the wardrobes are very small. If you plan to go with small children, you won’t be able to enter or exit with a stroller, which really annoyed me. The hotel doesn’t have parking. Breakfast is moderately good.

I just arrived today at 2 PM, and the room was extremely hot. I asked the reception to check the air conditioning, and they told me it was fixed. I trusted them and went out for the day. When I came back around 10 PM, the room was even hotter!
I called the reception again (different shift this time), and the person told me there’s no cold air, only heating, because the entire building uses central AC. Seriously? Every guest has to accept the same temperature? What if someone wants a cooler room? This makes absolutely no sense.
I told him that if they cannot provide cold air, then please refund my money so I can move to another hotel. He told me to contact Booking.com. I did, and Booking informed me that the hotel just needs to send a confirmation email to approve a refund. However, the reception refused, saying that only the reservation team can do that — and they don’t work on weekends! So now I have to wait until Monday, meaning I’m forced to spend two nights in a room at 29°C!
This is completely unacceptable. Poor management, poor communication, and zero care for guests’ comfort. I am stuck here suffering because of their unprofessional system.
Avoid this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!
