Clean hotel, good breakfast (served, no buffet). Also the staff are hospitable and serve you directly. Good Wi-Fi in the room and also in the reception. The hotel is very close to Taksim Square, Money-Maker and mini market.

The locations is great. Many very good places to eat nearby. Room well appointed, clean, beds very comfortable, nice large shower. Good breakfast and staff helpful. Taxsim Square very close, great shopping, walkable.. Yes, we recommend this property.

there was no swimmingspool. We booked the hotel because of the pool. Normally they should inform us before our departure.

The worst hotel experience ever. When we first arrived there was a bald man at the reception who was so unwelcoming, rude and arrogant. The man who helped us bring our bags to the room badgered us into buying a sim card from him and we said no as we read the previous reviews of him trying to scam customers. The room was dim with only lamps as the main source, had to unplug anyways as there wasn’t enough outlets, room was small for a family room. The breakfast buffet was horrible, food was barely edible and waited 20mins for some fried eggs. We then went to a local cafe (Marmar and Faros) for the rest of our stay for breakfast, it was amazing service and food was great there I recommend. On our 3rd day we arrived to the hotel and my tennis bracelet went missing, I reported it to the reception as soon as he took a picture of the bracelet and said he would ask. The next morning I went to the reception and another man also took a picture of it, as if it wasn’t reported before. I went to the reception for the third time and the bald rude man said nothing was found “my word against yours”, did not even check or help me at all. I told him I reporting this to the police and that is only when he came to check the lock. Even then there was no update of who came into the room or any help/apology on their part. The only star i’m giving is for the south asian man who came to help us look for the bracelet, still wasn’t found but he was the only respectful staff there. Half of the facilities were not even available (gym and pool), absolute waste of money, I do not understand how this has been rated as a 4 star hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE! AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!

Disappointed with our stay as the swimming pool was out of service, which was the main reason we booked this hotel. We looked forward to enjoying the pool, but it was unavailable when we tried to use it. Other amenities were fine, but the lack of pool access really impacted our experience.

I stayed at Nippon Hotel during the end of the year and New Year period. The hotel was fully booked, including many families, yet the overall experience was very good.
The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it fully matched my expectations. Housekeeping and staff support were professional and responsive.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and if something was not available, the staff were willing to accommodate special requests, which was appreciated.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to exchange offices, supermarkets, restaurants, and shisha cafés. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
I wish the hotel continued success.

On the first night, I complained to the hotel because I couldn’t sleep due to the heat (in winter time), I was tired then. They were unable to fix the air conditioner, and next morning I asked to change rooms. They moved us to another room that is smaller, for four people, but with better air conditioning. This means I paid for a Family Deluxe room of 35 m² but had to stay in a room of about 20 m². This experience is bad.
I have stayed at three other hotels in Turkey during this trip, and all of them were good. Only Nippon Hotel made my holiday incomplete. I really regret choosing Nippon Hotel; if I had read other guests’ reviews on Google more carefully, I would not have made this booking.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property is very clean, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcoming fruit plates and Turkish delights, which made the stay feel even more personalized.
The breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection. One of the strongest aspects of the stay was the team at the reception; they were always attentive, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and good hospitality. I would happily consider returning.

Good service overall. In the rooms, the wardrobes are very small. If you plan to go with small children, you won’t be able to enter or exit with a stroller, which really annoyed me. The hotel doesn’t have parking. Breakfast is moderately good.

I just arrived today at 2 PM, and the room was extremely hot. I asked the reception to check the air conditioning, and they told me it was fixed. I trusted them and went out for the day. When I came back around 10 PM, the room was even hotter!
I called the reception again (different shift this time), and the person told me there’s no cold air, only heating, because the entire building uses central AC. Seriously? Every guest has to accept the same temperature? What if someone wants a cooler room? This makes absolutely no sense.
I told him that if they cannot provide cold air, then please refund my money so I can move to another hotel. He told me to contact Booking.com. I did, and Booking informed me that the hotel just needs to send a confirmation email to approve a refund. However, the reception refused, saying that only the reservation team can do that — and they don’t work on weekends! So now I have to wait until Monday, meaning I’m forced to spend two nights in a room at 29°C!
This is completely unacceptable. Poor management, poor communication, and zero care for guests’ comfort. I am stuck here suffering because of their unprofessional system.
Avoid this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!
