This hotel is a good location for travel (by bus, tram and metro). This hotel is suitable for a small group. The staffs are friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic! The location is superb – right outside the hotel, you'll find Taksim Square and the airport shuttle stop, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. There are plenty of metro and bus options. The room is exquisite, clean, and hygienic. The owner is very polite, and the service is warm and thoughtful. They even offer various food delivery options right to your room. Highly recommended! There are all sorts of great food options near the hotel, and Istiklal Avenue is just a few minutes' walk away! The price is also very reasonable. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Good price. Location is about 8-10 min walk to bus terminals as well as Taksim Square. Picture is the street outside the hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with Turkish delight, and when I checked out, they even surprised me with a small gift box as a thank-you , such a thoughtful touch. The location is amazing, just a short walk from Taksim Square. It feels like a boutique luxury hotel, even though it’s a small building with naturally smaller rooms, but for what you pay, it’s honestly great value.
The rooms were very clean, and housekeeping refreshed everything daily ,beddings, towels, water, everything. There’s also complimentary water in the room, tea, and a kettle, and I had zero issues with water or amenities. Breakfast was included and really nice as well.
And theres a 24 hrs reception, who are friendly staff
Overall, for the price, the quality is way above what you’d expect. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

A quick impromptu stay due to failure in getting transit hotel from Turkish Airline. I booked a double occupancy room, but upon arrival, the receptionist said the room wasnt supposed to be advertised in trip.com bcs the price was too low. They insisted that price was meant to be for a small room ( for 1 person only), it’s the error from the application and asked us to upgrade the room with charge. I was quite furious because I booked as advertised and it’s not my fault. At the end, they asked me to top up for $10 to give the room that I supposed to have. Such a scam 😒
But because I was very exhausted, i just let it slide. And turns out the room is not dissappointing, luckily. It’s located near Taksim metro station & bus stop. Also, just 5 mins walking to Havaist bus stop that goes directly to Istanbul airport. At least there is something to be grateful for 😌

This hotel is super convenient – it's flat and walkable from the airport bus stop, which is great with luggage since there are no stairs or hills. Downstairs, you'll find currency exchange, food, coffee, and pretty much anything you need! I asked for a room on a higher floor and got to see a beautiful sunset because of it. The room was really warm, even in mid-December. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. I really enjoyed my stay!

Killer location! Breakfast is simple but tasty. However, cleanliness could be better, and there aren't many amenities. The airport bus stop is a 3-minute walk, and Taksim Square is a 4-minute walk away.

The room's cleanliness was so-so, and I personally found it a bit dirty. However, Trip.com's after-sales service was good. The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around.

The hotel is very nice and the location is perfect very close to the main square. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and made my stay very enjoyable. Everything was perfect.
Special thanks to Irfan, who was incredibly helpful with everything I needed. He is always ready to assist and makes you feel welcome. I was very happy to meet him.

I stayed at Nippon Hotel during the end of the year and New Year period. The hotel was fully booked, including many families, yet the overall experience was very good.
The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it fully matched my expectations. Housekeeping and staff support were professional and responsive.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and if something was not available, the staff were willing to accommodate special requests, which was appreciated.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to exchange offices, supermarkets, restaurants, and shisha cafés. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
I wish the hotel continued success.

On the first night, I complained to the hotel because I couldn’t sleep due to the heat (in winter time), I was tired then. They were unable to fix the air conditioner, and next morning I asked to change rooms. They moved us to another room that is smaller, for four people, but with better air conditioning. This means I paid for a Family Deluxe room of 35 m² but had to stay in a room of about 20 m². This experience is bad.
I have stayed at three other hotels in Turkey during this trip, and all of them were good. Only Nippon Hotel made my holiday incomplete. I really regret choosing Nippon Hotel; if I had read other guests’ reviews on Google more carefully, I would not have made this booking.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property is very clean, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcoming fruit plates and Turkish delights, which made the stay feel even more personalized.
The breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection. One of the strongest aspects of the stay was the team at the reception; they were always attentive, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and good hospitality. I would happily consider returning.

Good service overall. In the rooms, the wardrobes are very small. If you plan to go with small children, you won’t be able to enter or exit with a stroller, which really annoyed me. The hotel doesn’t have parking. Breakfast is moderately good.

Edit 1: the issue is solved after a long discussion back and forth with the hotel and Booking.com.

I just arrived today at 2 PM, and the room was extremely hot. I asked the reception to check the air conditioning, and they told me it was fixed. I trusted them and went out for the day. When I came back around 10 PM, the room was even hotter!
I called the reception again (different shift this time), and the person told me there’s no cold air, only heating, because the entire building uses central AC. Seriously? Every guest has to accept the same temperature? What if someone wants a cooler room? This makes absolutely no sense.
I told him that if they cannot provide cold air, then please refund my money so I can move to another hotel. He told me to contact Booking.com. I did, and Booking informed me that the hotel just needs to send a confirmation email to approve a refund. However, the reception refused, saying that only the reservation team can do that — and they don’t work on weekends! So now I have to wait until Monday, meaning I’m forced to spend two nights in a room at 29°C!
This is completely unacceptable. Poor management, poor communication, and zero care for guests’ comfort. I am stuck here suffering because of their unprofessional system.
Avoid this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!
