Reviews
The cleanliness was unacceptable; even after “cleaning,” the room was clearly not clean, and the bed sheets were never changed during my entire stay. When I requested a late checkout, they initially refused. Only after I insisted and offered to pay did they agree, charging an outrageous $13 per hour.
Overall, this hotel is poorly managed, unprofessional, and completely disrespectful to guests. The noise, the smell, the lack of cleanliness, and the rude behavior made this the worst travel experience ever. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place—it will ruin your trip.
The hotel has a good location and the room itself was spacious and comfortable.
However, the staff attitude was very cold, especially at the reception desk. I requested a one-hour late checkout to organize my belongings, and it was refused immediately without any consideration. I had heard the exact same excuse being given to another guest on my arrival day, which makes it clear that the hotel offers no flexibility at all to its guests.
Breakfast was below average. I only went once and did not return after that.
My room was on the 10th floor, but the elevator only goes up to the 9th floor, so I had to use the stairs to reach my room every time, which was inconvenient.
The good thing about the hotel is the location steps from taksim square otherwise everything was not related to the hotel classification.
The rooms are noisy, the windows are not air tight, the gym is very poor and old. Also one time after having a shower I opened a fresh towel to use and a hair ball (picture added) fall out of it which let me question the cleaning and washing of the towels and bed sheets.
I don't recommend it for more than 3 or 4 days stay.
I have to mention that most of the staff was kind a respectful specially vulkan, erkan, yusuf, the respectable valet man and the gym receptionists.
One of the WORST hotels I’ve ever been in!
First they gave us the room we didn’t book. It was an absolutely disgusting, loud, smelly room and we didn’t sleep at all.
The pool - SEE PICTURE. Never seen a pool this dirty in my life. I hope we won’t get sick because we only noticed it once we were already swimming.
Had to ask 4 times in total for bathrobes and clothing iron until it got to our room.
Breakfast - MISERABLE. Very little choice, more as a 3 star hotel.
Next day they put us in another room - the other guests were extremely loud very late in the night and it was extremely awkward for us, the staff only helped after calling multiple times. We were friends lucikly because I don’t know how it would be if there were children in the room.
Staff - hit or miss. Some are good, and some really bad at their job.
Overall, very unpleasant experience. Would never stay at this hotel or any other of their chain hotels ever again due to this experience. Would only book a trusted 5 star in Turkey from now on - trust me, it will be worth to skip this mess! I wouldn’t go here if EVEN YOU PAID ME!
I had to wait 15 min to receive towels which were taken by the housekeeper (the old ones) but didn't replace them with new ones. Same for the toilet papers!
I don't know of the management of the hotel asked their employees to stop smiling as I didn't see anyone smiling.
A very bad experience!
And receptionist are very polite and friendly.
Specially Guzel she is very nice person
Room ok and clean but I will definitely try other hotel in the same area.
To sum it up, if you have choice, look somewhere else. Make sure to have swimming cap otherwise the sale you cap with high money (€)

I stayed at Nippon Hotel during the end of the year and New Year period. The hotel was fully booked, including many families, yet the overall experience was very good.
The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it fully matched my expectations. Housekeeping and staff support were professional and responsive.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and if something was not available, the staff were willing to accommodate special requests, which was appreciated.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to exchange offices, supermarkets, restaurants, and shisha cafés. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
I wish the hotel continued success.
I have stayed at three other hotels in Turkey during this trip, and all of them were good. Only Nippon Hotel made my holiday incomplete. I really regret choosing Nippon Hotel; if I had read other guests’ reviews on Google more carefully, I would not have made this booking.
The breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection. One of the strongest aspects of the stay was the team at the reception; they were always attentive, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and good hospitality. I would happily consider returning.
Thanks to Nancy from the reception she is so helpful and collaborative! Without her the issue was not solved.
I just arrived today at 2 PM, and the room was extremely hot. I asked the reception to check the air conditioning, and they told me it was fixed. I trusted them and went out for the day. When I came back around 10 PM, the room was even hotter!
I called the reception again (different shift this time), and the person told me there’s no cold air, only heating, because the entire building uses central AC. Seriously? Every guest has to accept the same temperature? What if someone wants a cooler room? This makes absolutely no sense.
I told him that if they cannot provide cold air, then please refund my money so I can move to another hotel. He told me to contact Booking.com. I did, and Booking informed me that the hotel just needs to send a confirmation email to approve a refund. However, the reception refused, saying that only the reservation team can do that — and they don’t work on weekends! So now I have to wait until Monday, meaning I’m forced to spend two nights in a room at 29°C!
This is completely unacceptable. Poor management, poor communication, and zero care for guests’ comfort. I am stuck here suffering because of their unprofessional system.
Avoid this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!
