Altinboynuz Family Hotel in Istanbul

Never ever use this hotel especially if you are family and also for bachelors… The morning staff was nice and respectful but evening staff is rude and non cooperative. I booked 3 nights at hotel and at second night we found no water in the bathroom and we complain to reception with no response. Next day morning also same and no any action or response. The hotel rooms,bathrooms are very dirty and there are no any amenities available even water kettle which I requested but not provided.The breakfast is very below average. On third day I changed the hotel and they didn’t even returned my money for the 3rd day… So my request to who ever reading this review, please don’t choose this hotel looking at price you will also regret.

The most terrible and regretful experience in my life with hotels.The morning staff was nice and good. But evening staff was rude and non cooperative. We booked for 3 nights and on second night we found that there is no water in bathroom. We went to reception and receptionist was rude and did nothing. Next day morning also there was no water in the bathroom and we went reception again and outcome was same. If you are a family never ever ever book in this hotel looking at price you will regret for sure.The rooms are not at all clean and is very old and out of 35 amenities mentioned in booking.com, 30 amenities were not available. Even we requested kettle for hot water and they didn't provide any. So my request to who ever reading this please never ever choose this hotel for your stay. I was forced to change room on 3rd day and I asked refund for the third day and they never cared. I got little refund credit from booking.com but when compared to price I paid it was nothing. So again never book your stay in this hotel. All the pictures you see in websites are fake and not real.

The location of the hotel was good and quite accessible which is the only positive thing about this hotel. The duty staff was very discourteous and rude. There was no water, teabags, coffee, glasses or cups in the room. When we asked for water he refused and replied to bring it yourself.
The electric kettle was dirty . The breakfast area was smelly and the kitchen staff was not cooperative and quite rude too. Breakfast options were not good and limited.

I can’t dedicate a single good word to this hotel! Expensive, dirty, disgusting - in 3 words. I really regret that this particular hotel gave me an annex tour. I have never had a worse holiday: everything is broken, everything is dirty, the staff is indifferent, at breakfast they put leftovers with a displeased face and say that there is nothing else. Absolute horror.
