We stayed for 3 nights as a friend group and our time at Sublimeporte Hotel was fantastic. The location was very central, few minutes walk to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi palace!
Great service, Staff was very friendly and helpful, we felt Turkish hospitality once we arrived. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, There is a cute patio with breakfast place. Overall everything was great and we would definitely recommend to everyone!

Stayed in September 2025 for 16 nights. Was charged 200 euros/ night on booking.com. Definitely NOT worth that money...similar in standard to a midrange hotel in India. Was put in other mediocre hotels for the first 7 nights as poor management had double booked our room. We were put in 4 different hotels for those nights and 1 hotel refused to carry our bags up 4 flights of stairs..
We are 68 and 78 yr old couple.
Booking.com did NOT help at all.
Definitely a ripoff experience

Dear sublime porte hotel

I would like to sincerely thank you for your warm hospitality and excellent service during my stay. Everything was perfect — the room was comfortable, the staff were kind and helpful, and I truly enjoyed my time at your hotel.

Thank you once again for making my stay so pleasant. I hope to visit again soon.

Best regards :
Islam

After few other hotels in Istanbul was lucky enough to find this pearl! The hotel employees are very kind and friendly, they will help with any problem. The location is 5 minutes to the Aya Sofia. Good restaurants are very close by.
The room is very cozy, light, with a good view to the Bosfor and the garden. Everything is clean.
There is also garden with tables where you can have breakfast (or in the kitchen)
So generally, enjoyed my stay they for 100% and fully recommend it to everyone.

Berkay was amazing and incredibly kind, warm and helpful. We got in after midnight from a flight and he was there to great us and help us to our rooms. Set up an affordable taxi for the next morning and provided local tips. Great location to everything you want to see and do in this area. Highly recommend.

Such a cozy hotel next to the main attractions (Blue Mosque, Basilica Cisterna, Topkapi, etc). Perfect location and amazing, very helpful staff. A huge thank you to Emre for our amazing stay in Istanbul. In addition, there is a small nice garden with the kitchen which is accessible 24/7.

Everything was just perfect, the location was amazing, in the heart of Istanbul and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are a few minutes away. The rooms are good, the beds are very comfortable. All recommendations

Perfect, as always. Perfect team. Superb location, just steps from the tourist attractions. Top-notch team, always there in any situation. We simply felt at home. God bless you all. With love, Melanie

Total disappointment We chose to pay the establishment on site via booking (which we have always done on our trips without any problem) The morning of our departure from France the manager tried to charge us on the imprint of the credit card, surprise, we had never done that before We still validated our credit card on booking to guarantee our room Arrived at the hotel after the flight (so without wifi network obviously) the manager told us with a very unpleasant air that he gave away our room because our credit card did not work We showed him on booking the proof that we had chosen to pay at the establishment on site but nothing to do This rude person had the nerve to tell us that if we come back tomorrow it is ok but not tonight In short A bad adventure, an extremely unpleasant manager DO NOT TRUST THE PHOTOS A hotel was built on the left completely attached to this one

The hotel owner was very welcoming and recommended many places worth visiting.

Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!

Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
