Istanbul Altun Life Hotel in Istanbul

I had a very bad experience with Life Hotel. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the reality did not match what was stated in the Booking reservation—neither the room nor the way the staff dealt with me. I was given incorrect information, and then I was forced to cancel my Booking reservation without any valid explanation.
After that, I was placed in a room that was far below the level agreed upon, and it didn’t meet even the basic standards of comfort or quality. What made things worse is that I felt my heavy luggage was used as pressure against me. They treated me as if, because I arrived tired and carrying my bags, I would not change the hotel due to exhaustion. This is a clear form of taking advantage of the customer’s situation instead of helping or offering a respectful solution.
The treatment was unprofessional, disrespectful, and lacked any sense of credibility.
Honestly, this was a very disappointing experience, and I do not recommend this hotel at all. I am writing this review to warn others from going through the same situation.

Even though it is said that there is 24 h check in, this is not true. I arrived at 11pm, and my room was given away to somebody else, so the only option was to take a room on the 5th floor. Next, if you do not have a reservation, you will be asked to pay double price in cash. There was a young man with black hair at the counter who asked me to pay much higher than I had to pay. I was very disappointed. I stayed at this hotel 4 nights. My room was dirty. Housekeepers did not clean rooms daily. The shower was broken. I asked to repair it. There was hot water, so it is a small advantage. The breakfast was usual, it included one boiled egg, bread, slices of tomato and cucumber, jams and butter. Lastly, it is a good location, approximately 1-1.5 km from the centre. I would not stay again at this hotel.

This “hotel” is a joke… Everything is dirty, moldy. The photos on booking are simply a scam… At home our dog’s house is cleaner… We left the hotel within 30 minutes… Asked for a refund from booking… Avoid this hotel… The staff can’t speak english at all.

Really bad hotel. Not enough space in room and bathroom.. bathroom really bad hard to shower 🚿 due to space . Service is also bad. They don’t even provide any service. They offer brake fast. But if you get you will be lucky. And even bed cover everything is bad. AC won’t work properly. Even blood stain in that bedsheet. Everything is really bad for that price. If you book online in some third party application. When we get there they will say we will cancel that booking and will give you directly

Old, dirty rooms. Nothing like the pictures from the webside. Paiment only cash. Do not go there!
