Yolohostel in Istanbul

This hostel is a very special place in the less touristy part of Istanbul. I really liked the perfect mix between a chill place to hang out, play some rounds of chess or backgammon and the possibility to socialize easily with other travelers. Rooms are really well equipped with comfortable beds and lockers and it was no problem parking my bicycle in the backyard. Also, the staff is really warm-hearted and welcoming, I had a great time chatting with them and they offer amazing Çay!
One night, the hostel took us to a really cool free festival concert in a nearby park and even though the hostel is located in a quiet street, within a 5 minute walk, you'll be in THE restaurant and bar area in Kadiköy.

Stayed in the double room and it was spacious with adequate facilities, clean towels and shower gel etc. The common spaces downstairs were also well maintained, clean, social and just overall pleasant and well ventilated even in the summer. The AC in the room also functioned perfectly.

However, most importantly, the people - Ahmed, Baran and Irem (the ones I came across) were incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. This place is really made by the people and I would love to visit again!

Ahmet, Irim, and Nargis are incredibly nice! I felt very safe and welcomed by everyone’s hospitality. It’s a really cool and colorful hostel. Every traveler I’ve met here has also been so interesting and friendly. I truly loved my time here.

It was in a beautiful location, the perfect place to watch locals and chill. And close to the ferry port so you can reach other parts of Istanbul easily such as the islands or Eminonu. The staff are really lovely. The beds are comfortable. Cute garden area to sit and read. Highly recommend.

The best hostel to stay at in Kadikoy! (which I highly recommended as the location you stay in due to its amazing, vibrant and exciting energy and excellent links to other parts of istanbul via the Kadikoy ferry point and taking the ferry in Istanbul is an absolute must: you must see Istanbul from the perspective of a ferry ride).

From the moment I arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful. The hostel is quirky and cozy with lovely outdoor spaces including a front coffee shop type of setting so perfect for chilling out at the hostel itself. I stayed in the female deluxe dorm which was like a mini apartment complete with a door leading to a really nice outdoor seating area.
Another thing that I liked was that you can pay like £3 to have your laundry done and they will dry and fold it for you!!

This is definitely the place I will stay in when I'm back in Istanbul. Thanks guys :)

+ I was checked-in earlier by request. P The personnel are very nice, banks are wide, and lockers are convenient. The hostel is in the middle of Kadikoy so there are many and many nice places.
