There are no complaints about the location. But everything is so dirty... Either we were unlucky, or no one cares about cleanliness. We rented several rooms and everyone was unhappy.

Overall, the hotel is very convenient and the location is great.
But there's one manager who works the evening shift and he's extremely rude!
There's no hairdryer in the room! There was no electricity one day!! It's like, "Do whatever you want!"
No hot water the other day! These are huge downsides!
Overall, the rooms are clean, for which a special thanks to the cleaning staff!
There's a manager who works during the day who speaks Russian and does everything possible to make guests feel comfortable!

An excellent facility and lovely accommodation. You can make your choice with confidence. Don't pay attention to negative reviews. The staff are very helpful.

A steap up hill walk but not too far from main roads. Good enough but not the cleanest.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The staff member on duty in the morning when we checked in was extremely rude. He started threatening us about baggage issues and even told us to leave the hotel.
On the day of checkout, he insisted we must leave by 11:00 AM, even though on ******* it clearly says checkout time is 12:00 noon. staff started pressuring us to leave immediately, saying we were not allowed to stay after 11. Is this how you treat guests?
Before booking, we specifically asked about luggage storage, and they confirmed through ******* messages that it would be arranged but once we arrived, they refused.
They also claimed they would arrange airport pickup, and when we agreed, they stopped responding on ******* and instead shared their personal contact details, which felt unprofessional.
Overall, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. I’m also disappointed in ******* for allowing such hotels to operate on their platform.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at
The Reina Hotel was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Filthy room, dirty and torn bed linens and towels, and horrible pillows. A rating below zero.

The hotel is awful. After 18 years of pretty adventurous traveling, it has been the worst experience of a hotel. The small angry man at the front desk does not speak English and refuses to look at Google translate. We booked a quadruple room. Instead we had a double room with two extra mattresses thrown in. The beds were dirty and had a sheet on top of them. The room was dirty. The air con didn’t work (even by day 4). This meant a real lack of sleep in the hot summer. There was no fridge as advertised; we needed one for medication. Breakfast is in a dark basement. No hot water for coffee days 2-4. Bad looking tomatoes, cucumber and dry bread… it started late. Making beds / fresh towels etc is only for every 3rd day. Yapping dogs woke us up at 7am each morning. The only person who spoke English said the photos on the websites are not correct because “that’s advertising.” Please don’t stay.
Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!
Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.

The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.

Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

Positives :
- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them
- the hotel takes the customer reviews seriously

Best 7 days in Istanbul, thanks to 1207 hotel.

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.

Excelent location, friendly staff, nice rooftop terrace. Everything one might want from a hostel in Istanbul!

I came in December so it was fairly quiet, but if you come in the warm months there will surely be a large crowd. The terrace upstairs offers good views around and a good place to meet people. Located very well right off the Sultanhamet Tram stop, and very convenient to get to almost anywhere in Istanbul. Offers cheap breakfast, cheap ride to airport, and nice rooms with heat/ac and warm water for shower. Wifi is average. Hosts are very helpful, and informative. Great place to stay, especially for backpackers.
