Waw Hotel Galataport

We rented the suite "blue zircon" for a week which was a big mistake for the following reasons :
-very poor communication: we have called and am writing an email to this establishment a few days before our departure for Istanbul to confirm our arrival time and whether we could check in early , and we have not had a response the same day of the departure by a phone call from a person who hardly spoke English.

-The contact number was almost never, we had to call several times before you can speak with someone in charge of the management.

-Communication very difficult because the only person present at the reception was an employee who spoke only a few words of English . In addition, the reception is most of the time empty, a person is present for only a few hours in the day so in the event of a question or problem, it is necessary to call the "manager", who is not even on site.
-The hotel is very difficult to find, it n' there was not even a sign or a sign with the name

-the building is located at the bottom of a street very steep and paved so slippery especially with the rain

- the stairs are very narrow and difficult to climb.
-the apartment we had on the 2nd floor was very wet so our towels don sèchaient ever and a strong smell of sewage emanated from the bathroom and the kitchen sink.
-the night inside of a building full of snails were taken a walk to the entrance and on the stairs

Apart from the area which is very nice, we do not recommend to stay in this hotel, which not only is very poorly managed and the apartments are difficult to access and not pleasant to stay in.
