Price:
Sept 2022,haggled my single down to 500TL from 800 on-display and a double to 700 from 1050.
Payment during check-in,in cash.
Locals paid way less than that😡.

Rooms:
Small,4 floors-No elevator.
Ribs were painful due 2 rock-hard foam.
Good luck if you're taller than 1m80.
No shower hanger.
A/C steadily on 16°c - Remote either broken or low battery,Idk.
Pre-packed b.fast on a plate with 1pc cheese,1 sliced tomato/cucumber,jam,olives,boiled egg,bread and tea (no real Turkish kahvalti).

Service:
I asked for tea once,then the staff never spoke to us anymore (3 nights there)or offered tea again.
We were reprimanded for drinking an Efes on the patio under the guise they had no licence for that while I guess the whole hood is rather conservative.

Conclusion:
Wide room for improvement.
Sad to see country has suffered from hyper inflation yet tourists should not carry the burden for that.
Double standards (tourists VS locals) are NOT acceptable in a modern country.

Comparison:
For the same price,in oct 2021
I had much more accomodating service,better room and real breakfast right at Ayasofiya,and it was even booked on Booking com,with the hotel losing money on commissions.

A good hotel with good services. The renting price is nice and fair. The most important thing is the location which is close to great places in old part of the city. The rooms are clean and comfort. The only disadvantage in my opinion is the absence of an elevator.

We went from Ankara by reading the comments and stayed for one night. The understanding of the friendly staff was amazing. The price is affordable in a central location. Maybe a little more attention would be given to its cleanliness. Thank you very much. Next time there is no need for another guest directly here... thank you cookk to the staff
