I stayed for six days with my wife and 6 yr old daughter. The location was fantastic and room assigned to us was absolutely beautiful, spacious enough to accommodate all three of us. Breakfast was superb (Thanks to two ladies who prepare it on daily basis), and the roof-top terrace experience was just amazing. All the hotel staffs were really kind and super cooperative. We definitely reserve this hotel in future.

We were three couples travelling to Turkey and this hotel was our first stop. I was pleasantly surprised by the helpful staff who went out of their way to give us relevant information about Istanbul. The hotelwas neat and clean as expected, the rooms were comfortable and not very expensive. Location is great, fairly quiet at night and the highlight is the roof top, especially in the evenings where you can sit and enjoy a drink without any one bothering you. Would stay again

This hotel is excellent for location, cleanliness and services. The roof-top terrace for copiously full, Turkish breakfasts has views across to the Marmara sea and the mountains of Asia on the horizon, making for a very pleasantly relaxing amenity. The staff are very friendly and prompt with their service, honest recommendations and tips for travellers. All in all, a great choice at the price!

Everything about this hotel was splendid! My friends and I stayed for a few nights and had an amazing time. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious, and the rooftop view was stunning. Our room was very clean, as was the bathroom, and the bed were all comfortable.

The person in charge was not so friendly. The first day when we went to breakfast, there was nobody there, that was at nine o'clock, but the guy told me breakfast starts at 8 o'clock (not in a friendly way) I told him, but it's Nine o'clock, just at that moment he realized it was late. We waited more than one hour. Another thing is that they don't accept payment with Dollars, the guy told me: Change your dollar and come back. Another thing is there is no elevator, and it is not so nice to carry the baggage to the third floor. The room and cleaning was ok. The place is okay because it is near many important tourist attractions.

Our stay in Istanbul was just wonderful thanks to Sultanahamet Cesme Hotel. Their rooms were clean, well-appointed, and generously sized, and the bathrooms clean and also spacious. We really enjoyed the comfy mattresses and extra pillows, and had no issues with the aircon that kept our room cool all day and all night. Really loved the classic, old school vibes from the building itself, the marble stairs were gorgeous.
The view over the bosphorus from the rooftop terrace was stunning, and was a fantastic place to enjoy the hotel's delicious and complimentary turkish breakfast buffet. My only complaint was that I couldn't stay longer - definitely the highlight of our trip.

During our three-night weekend stay, my wife and I encountered numerous issues at the hotel. On the first night, we were relocated to a dirty hotel due to a supposed leak in our room. Throughout the remaining two nights, we were shuffled between different rooms without any clear explanation. Despite my daily requests to speak with the manager, I was continually assured that they would come and address my concerns, but no one ever followed through. The lack of accountability and customer service was disheartening, as there was no effort made to provide any compensation. Given this experience, I would advise others to stay clear of this hotel due to their untrustworthy behavior, especially since the individual behind the counter, who happened to be the hotel owner's son, was unable to effectively manage the situation.

This hotel is fantastic! The owner and their family are incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring all your needs are met with a smile. It's conveniently located near attractions and surrounded by numerous dining options. Overall, it's superb value for money. Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.

The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

small and nice hotel very central, easy to get around in every part of the city. the staff is polite and kind I was in Istanbul for work and a bit of vacation I managed to do both without problems. they recommended me a place not very touristy and very Turkish and I was able to play a bit.. thank

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.

Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

Positives :
- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them
- the hotel takes the customer reviews seriously

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.
