Excellent location, just a 10-minute walk to the T1 tram station and Hagia Sophia. The room, though small, had all the necessary amenities and was very clean. Great value for money, highly recommend!

My friend and I came to Istanbul for a few days' vacation.
We really liked the hotel. The room was just like the picture—small, but clean and well-maintained. There was plenty of space, especially since we only used it to sleep. The room was cleaned daily, and the water was replenished (you could ask for an extra bottle at reception). The view from the room wasn't great, but it was quiet and peaceful.
The breakfasts were delicious and varied, always featuring scrambled eggs, vegetables, fruit, various salads, pastries, pizza, coffee, and juices.
The staff spoke Russian, was friendly, and helpful.
The location was good, close to all the sights, markets, and transportation.
If you're a light sleeper, be prepared to wake up at 6 a.m. to the sound of chanting in the mosque. 😅

From start to finish, our stay at No. 12 Sultanamet was fantastic. The amenities were great, and all the tourist spots are within walking distance. We found the overall environment very comfortable and relaxing.
The real highlight, however, was the exceptional service provided by the housekeeping team, specifically Inga (Khadija). She was genuinely welcoming and helpful every single day. Her attention to detail and warm demeanor made us feel truly cared for and at home. It’s rare to receive such consistently high-level, friendly service. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and Inga (Khadija) deserves special recognition for her efforts. We highly recommend this hotel!

Had an amazing stay here! Location is amazing, can walk everywhere within 5minutes. The room was lovely, very clean and spacious. Such amazing staff, Inga and Serdar are so lovely, took me to the roof top for an amazing view. Highly recommend here!

A fantastic stay at No12 in a lovely sweet small hotel, run by lovely staff. My parents and I had a great time staying there, my parents and I loved the morning breakfasts and service from the lovely Receptionist Serdar and Housekeeper Inga who both looked after my elderly parents so we'll to make sure they were safe and comfortable at all times. In addition the short distance to the blue mosque meant the hotel was in a great location to see local sights and enjoy the lovely Turkish foods. Thankyou for a lovely stay Inga/Serdar and No12 😊

Room was slightly cramped but we enjoyed everything about it. It's a quiet area where we slept for one night. They had an elevator. Fully stocked bathroom with enough space for 3 of us to use. 3 bottles of shampoo and bath soap. 3 towels. 3 beds. There was hot water which was good for the winter season.
The kettle was usable.
Clean and no odours. Front desk staff were courteous. They helped hold on to our luggage after check out.

Breakfast is good, location is perfect as you are really close to the most important mosques, basilica cistern and grand bazaar, very important the hotel is not in a horrible hill as much hotels, the staff is amazing, inga specially is lovely and all the reception staff is super helpful if you need anything. Great stay!

I came in December so it was fairly quiet, but if you come in the warm months there will surely be a large crowd. The terrace upstairs offers good views around and a good place to meet people. Located very well right off the Sultanhamet Tram stop, and very convenient to get to almost anywhere in Istanbul. Offers cheap breakfast, cheap ride to airport, and nice rooms with heat/ac and warm water for shower. Wifi is average. Hosts are very helpful, and informative. Great place to stay, especially for backpackers.
