Great hotel! They cleaned the room every day and changed the towels daily too. Breakfast was decent – omelets, sausages, snacks, vegetables, and fruit.

Our room was super cool! It was the only one on the floor, and the view was insane!!! We were absolutely thrilled.

However, it was quite cold in the room, but the air conditioning helped with that. On the plus side, sleeping in such fresh air was great.

Also, in the morning, we could hear sounds from the dining room, which was right outside our door. But hey, it meant we didn't have to go far for food 😹 You just step out of your room, eat, and in two steps, you're back in your room!

Oh, and you should also be prepared for the morning calls from the minarets in Istanbul... And since this is the oldest district, you can hear them very clearly here.

The Saba 3* Hotel has an ideal location in the Sultanahmet district, 200 meters from the Blue Mosque 🔥. There's a tram stop nearby (the most convenient form of transportation). The Grand Bazaar is a 10-minute walk up the street, and the Galata Bridge and the piers where cruise ships depart are a 15-minute walk or tram ride away. There are tons of cafes and shops nearby—the location is simply perfect 🔥!!!
The hotel is small and clean. The rooms are small but very cozy.
The main reason I chose this hotel was the open-air breakfast veranda with views of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Sea of Marmara 🥰!
The breakfasts are simple, but delicious and filling!
I 100% recommend this hotel 👍!!!
My suggestion for the hotel is to add towel hooks in the bathroom!!!

Very convenient location. Right in the city center. The rooms are cleaned daily. The breakfasts are standard and delicious. The view from the terrace is simply amazing 👍🏻

This isn't our first time in Istanbul and we've always stayed in the historic part. This was our first time at this hotel and we were very pleased. The location is excellent, with a stunning view of the Blue Mosque at breakfast. The rooms are clean and spacious. Everything you need is provided: toiletries, towels, and slippers. We didn't even have time to use everything before they were already replaced with clean ones. Cleaning is daily. The breakfasts are delicious, not particularly varied, but you won't leave hungry. The chef makes omelets upon request, and there are hot and cold appetizers. Fruits include tangerines and apples. There are also sweets for tea: cookies, muffins, jams, preserves, and honey. The staff doesn't speak Russian (the only downside), but even if they couldn't explain themselves in English, everyone uses online translators. I'd especially like to mention the superb collection of teapots in the hotel lobby; you could get lost for half an hour taking it all in. Overall, we're happy and would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Although this hotel is an old hotel but we like it because: 1. the location of this hotel is very strategic, it only takes 5 -10 minutes to hagia sophia 2. the staff is friendly and helpful 3. good food and many choices 4. we really like the rooftop restaurant where the view is very super, there is a Mediterranean sea, blue mosque and hagia sophia 5. the bathroom is clean and elegant 6. there are many restaurants and mini markets near the hotel. one drawback is that the hotel lobby needs to be renovated to be more lively and fun. overall very good and if we go to Istanbul again, I want to stay at this hotel again.

The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the Blue Mosque, and tramva station

The staff were helpful, especially the kitchen ladies who prepared a fantastic breakfast—my favorite was the aubergine!

The room was clean, and I was impressed by the towels, hair dryer, and slippers provided, which exceeded expectations for the price I paid.

The only downside was the television—I couldn’t watch any channels as they were all in Turkish. It would be perfect if they added international channels or a smart TV that allows device connectivity.

Excellent location. Helpful receptionist at all times. Walking distance to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, etc..

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.

Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

Positives :
- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them
- the hotel takes the customer reviews seriously

Best 7 days in Istanbul, thanks to 1207 hotel.

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.

Location, location location: this hotel is right on the spot where the ancient hippodrome used to be and 5 minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia and all the action. Plenty of eating options very close by. The hotel is busy - even in the low season. There are a few issues: first - and most importantly - the 'standard' rooms are not all equal. The first room we were put in was small and basic and a twin despite us having requested a double bed. We complained and they 'upgraded' us to a 'standard' room which was bigger with a double bed on a higher floor. So, if you book a 'standard' room you could end up with a small twin. The second issue is related to this: they don't seem to take their Expedia VIP status seriously. I really had to push for a better room. To their credit, they did deliver it. But I felt like they were doing us a big favour. The third issue is the distinct lack of welcome when you arrive. A small point, but reception really doesn't seem to care. (When we arrived they.offeted a welcome drink which never arrived). No one offers to assist with you bags. Basically, you're on your own. All of that said, the location is fantastic.and the rooms are warm and clean. The room staff are exceptional and make up somewhat for the reception staff. Breakfast is standard Turkish and crowded. But overall, a pleasant stay in a clean, functional hotel.

We spent a few hours here on a layover in Istanbul. The location is fantastic with Blue Mosque right outside your window. While we were allowed to check-in when we arrived at 8a, we had to pay extra to check in early though, even though there was an empty room. The power also did not work when we arrived, but was back on after a quick walk through the square. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace is a great experience.
