Good service, had to get some things sorted out like water was not there in the fridge, wash basin was not draining properly but they fixed things very quickly. I'm satisfied. Located at the prime tourist spot very near to Taksim. Room seems to me a bit congested but we are three people. It would be fine for two. Wash basin is out of washroom which might be great for couples but I don't like it. Room is sound proof and really beautiful. Haven't tried breakfast yet. The guy at reception saw me wandering outside the gate at around 2am, and came out for giving me company and making me feel safe and we had a very nice conversation.

One of the worst hotels I have ever been .The rooms are very small although I told them 3 beds in the room and I booked when I arrived I was shocked that there is no place to walk to reach your bed, and when I asked for a blanket for the child they told me that it is not available in the hotel,, also sink out of the bathroom!! You hear the sound of the water and the level of hygiene is very, very bad, the floor is not clean, the bed covers have yellow stains.

I’m seeing some bad comments about the hotel may be they have improved now. We stayed there 6-7 days it has beautifulll sea view with Blue Mosque and Bosphorus Bridge for me that was everything 😍 Everyday they provide us extra breakfast other than fixed menu, whatever we asked for.. Wifi was weak so they gave us extra router which worked perfectly. We didn’t find anything wrong, perfect cleaning and service. Yes hotel do not have their own restaurant but they help you ordering anything. I find them very helpful and convenient, staff members were very helpful… overall I loved the hotel and location as in-front of hotel there was a garden and if you walk on backside you can walk to the sea. Isteklal street is on walking distance and most famous places are 15-20 minutes on cab. I recommend this hotel and I plan to book it again on my next tour to Istanbul 🤩

I went to Avant garde hotel in taksim gerzi park at night time for reservations for me with my family there was a manager name Adam.he is very rude and bad speaking person I don’t know how they can keep such a rude person as a manager I feel hurt from his response towards me.very embarrassed behavior from adam I request authority to change such person they are not fit for manager.should change them immediate.

Horrible hotel. We stayed for 6 nights. On 1st day, 2 small water bottles were given. Next 5 days, no water and they say it is Hotel Policy and asked us to pay exorbitant price. Very unfriendly staff . Worst experience . Never venture even nearby this place ..

I had a 10 nights stay with my wife on a sea view room , View was the only good thing,
Internet, breakfast, hotel response, facilities & location were the worst thing ever
the street has no stores at all to buy any essentials needed , hotel doesn’t have kitchen to order food if needed which is very inconvenience
Breakfast is already preselected ( one plate mixed) which was very bad not to choose what to eat
Internet was the WORST ever , escalated everyday with no response, saying that it’s a general issue they have and they will restart the access point, but no improvement at all
Elevator is very bad, slow and waste of time as we had to wait for at least 3 minutes to find a spot , on rush hours it could take 15 minutes.
The worst thing than the Internet is the hotel response, they didn’t find any solutions at all of our issues, they even punished us with letting the room windows open for 3 days in a row when we kept on escalating the Internet issue, we asked not to keep the windows open as the temperature was 0 at that time , when we come every day at night to find the room like a freezer and and we had 3 freezing nights till the last 2 days at our stay we stopped the room service

I was staying from November 8th to November 12th. Although the view of the room was good, it is not a professional hotel, the lobby was covered with dust. breakfast was not acceptable at all. and it wasn't self-service.

Cleaning and breakfast is missing. The staff is different. I suggest to check the room before the room hire. The throat or park views on a high floor and the beds were comfortable.

I love that it is in the heart of the city, located in a very convenient spot at the Taksim. I also should mention that the service was all-around great and recommendable. Clean and fresh rooms, friendly staff exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to stay here again!

We chose this hotel due to its location (10 minutes walk from Taksim square, which is a great area), and that the hotel had a pool, whilst being affordable. The hotel met all expectations and scored high in bed and pillow comfort. The room was maybe a tad warn and the road noise was quite loud 24/7 (but it is in the busy city centre! And we were the road side, not the quieter riverside) but the roof top terrace has beautiful views, the staff were really nice and our overall satisfaction we felt at this hotel will certainly make us consider staying again. I'd recommend a room with a river view, going to a drink on the terrace and a walk into taksim square.

Rooms are medium and clean. Servise is very atentive, friendly, hepful and dont bother you. Location is ideal for travelers- taxim square is near and place is quite. Kabatash dock is 15-20 min by foot and you are in fairy wich takes you- either beahiktash, kadikoy or eminonu. (Its under construction but works) meteo station - from where you go all over the istanbul. And+ short road wich leads you even on Sisli. Near is a park and consert amphitheatre- where we go for evening conserts (that was a reason why we stay there) breakfast is nice. Thay have a swiming pool (3*7m,) gym… and roof top restourand. In the side is 2n normal restourant as well.

The property was in a great area for my trip objectives. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff and service were great. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly, professional, and attentive. I especially want to mention Hayri and Erdal for their assistance when I had a couple of specific requests. I found the Opera Hotel Bosphorus a wonderful choice.

My family had a wonderful stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean, and our view of the Bosphorus was simply amazing! My family enjoyed breakfast, which had a nice variety of foods. We also had room service, which was quick and tasty. The proximity of the hotel to Taksim was great. Highly recommend staying here!

I stayed at Nippon Hotel during the end of the year and New Year period. The hotel was fully booked, including many families, yet the overall experience was very good.
The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it fully matched my expectations. Housekeeping and staff support were professional and responsive.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and if something was not available, the staff were willing to accommodate special requests, which was appreciated.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to exchange offices, supermarkets, restaurants, and shisha cafés. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

On the first night, I complained to the hotel because I couldn’t sleep due to the heat (in winter time), I was tired then. They were unable to fix the air conditioner, and next morning I asked to change rooms. They moved us to another room that is smaller, for four people, but with better air conditioning. This means I paid for a Family Deluxe room of 35 m² but had to stay in a room of about 20 m². This experience is bad.
I have stayed at three other hotels in Turkey during this trip, and all of them were good. Only Nippon Hotel made my holiday incomplete. I really regret choosing Nippon Hotel; if I had read other guests’ reviews on Google more carefully, I would not have made this booking.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property is very clean, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcoming fruit plates and Turkish delights, which made the stay feel even more personalized.
The breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection. One of the strongest aspects of the stay was the team at the reception; they were always attentive, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and good hospitality. I would happily consider returning.

Good service overall. In the rooms, the wardrobes are very small. If you plan to go with small children, you won’t be able to enter or exit with a stroller, which really annoyed me. The hotel doesn’t have parking. Breakfast is moderately good.

Edit 1: the issue is solved after a long discussion back and forth with the hotel and Booking.com.

I just arrived today at 2 PM, and the room was extremely hot. I asked the reception to check the air conditioning, and they told me it was fixed. I trusted them and went out for the day. When I came back around 10 PM, the room was even hotter!
I called the reception again (different shift this time), and the person told me there’s no cold air, only heating, because the entire building uses central AC. Seriously? Every guest has to accept the same temperature? What if someone wants a cooler room? This makes absolutely no sense.
I told him that if they cannot provide cold air, then please refund my money so I can move to another hotel. He told me to contact Booking.com. I did, and Booking informed me that the hotel just needs to send a confirmation email to approve a refund. However, the reception refused, saying that only the reservation team can do that — and they don’t work on weekends! So now I have to wait until Monday, meaning I’m forced to spend two nights in a room at 29°C!
This is completely unacceptable. Poor management, poor communication, and zero care for guests’ comfort. I am stuck here suffering because of their unprofessional system.
Avoid this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!
