Every day in Istanbul was filled with strong winds and heavy rain, and it wasn't until the last day that I finally experienced the breathtaking fjords. The hotel spa experience wasn't as amazing as I had imagined; it was quite average. Perhaps my expectations were too high. The breakfast, however, was plentiful with many choices, and the location was very convenient. The hotel service was Peninsula-standard.

The hotel's overall facilities are great, and the air conditioning in the rooms works perfectly for both heating and cooling. During check-out, we met Manager Darhan, who provided professional and enthusiastic service. The hotel is truly lucky to have him and his team. A manager from the housekeeping department, who appeared to be of Indian/Pakistani descent, also provided excellent service.
However, we did encounter some issues at breakfast. The menu advertised freshly squeezed juices (pomegranate and orange), but they clearly weren't fresh. The waitress serving our table seemed unwilling to acknowledge this. Aside from this and the slight inconvenience of getting a taxi right outside the hotel, everything else was excellent.
I really appreciated the hotel's late check-out policy, and the concierge's luggage delivery service was also outstanding.

The hotel abutting the seaside closest to adjacent restaurants, pier and a bridge where you can walk across the harbour. The hotel rooms and public areas were newly decorated to a luxurious standard. As we told the "Hamam" in Turkey is a must try experience, we went to the Peninsula Spa and booked a Couple's Retreat. The given treatment room for a couple is deemed too small with only 1 small shower room to serve a couple together, and lack of amenities such as sauna/steam room, slippers, shaver kit and teeth brush, etc. comparable to similar spa in Asian and Macau. The worth was that when we took a car about leaving the hotel, a female staff questioned me if I had paid off all costs before departure. No so sure if this was because of my dressing or my Asian face, and surely this was my very bad experience in travelling so far.

The most distinctive feature of this Peninsula hotel is its prime location on the waterfront, known as "The Lobby." However, it appears to be open to the public as well; hotel guests receive neither discounts nor priority service. Requests to staff were frequent, requiring multiple reminders before items were brought to the table. In the evenings, it was cold, and after repeatedly asking for a heater, it took a long time to arrive, leaving me with a runny nose from the cold… while others received their heaters immediately upon being seated. Upon check-out, I complained to the front desk, and the manager apologized and waived my bill.
The interior design is similar to other Peninsula hotels, but more modern. I'm not sure if it was due to unsuitable shampoo and conditioner or the hairdryer's extremely weak setting before bed, but the next day I had a full head of dandruff – the most dandruff I've ever seen on myself… Overall, the room rate was low for value; the service points are entirely for the front desk staff.

The location is fantastic, worthy of being called a peninsula. It faces the bay yet is incredibly quiet.
The peninsula also offers flexible check-in and check-out times, making it perfect for Chinese travelers arriving on early flights.

When we arrived at the hotel this morning, we were given a temporary room to rest in and even received Turkish tea. This was a great touch, especially since we had just returned from a red-eye flight.
After checking in that afternoon, we were even given an upgraded room. It was incredibly spacious, which was a delight! 😁
The hotel is right next to the pier, making for a stunning sunrise and convenient boat rides.

I went for the cafe, never knew there was a hotel or smth. Anyway, the breakfast was delicious and not overpriced, the Bazlama was juicy and not too heavy for a breakfast. The Meneman and the fries were just so right but i ordered a Flat White but they got me a Cappuccino! They were so lovely though and i enjoyed it💖💖

My husband and I are currently visiting Istanbul and stumbled across this lovely cafe within a 2 minute walk of our hotel. We both got the cheese omelet and it was so delicious!! Very reasonably priced at around 800 Turkish lira for the both of us. Everything even down to the honey and the butter were so fresh and tasted great. Definitely recommend for a quick bite in the morning

We’ve been in Istanbul for five days. This was the best breakfast—authentic Turkish breakfast recommended by a local. It’s on a super cute street under a canopy of umbrellas. We highly recommend!

Very loud on weekends, hard to sleep because of the music from bars around. Room is nice but they barely clean the rooms when you request it. Location is convenient if you don’t worry about the noise on weekends.
