Invictum Residence Apartment hotel in Istanbul

What a horrible place. We booked through Airbnb for 2 nights, arrived and was shown a room completely different to what we booked, and were told that it's the same, just different layout - it was very different! That wasn't the biggest issue though. The cleanliness was non-existent. There room was filthy, mould everywhere in the bathroom and even next to the bed, empty and half used toiletries in the shower, stains on the linen and towels, something spilt on the floor that wasn't cleaned and sticky, the fridge was covered in old food and wasn't working, the kitchen stove was rusted and hadn't been cleaned, there was dust and hair everywhere, the aircon was pathetic and this was just the start. The only positive was the friendliness of the man at reception, although was oblivious to the fact that we leaving after one day. He didn't ask why we were leaving or for any feedback. DO NOT rely on the photos. Also, the advertised 'free laundry service' doesn't exist - apparently the machine was broken, although I have no doubt it's been broken for quite a while. I would love to hear from the owners, but I don't think that will happen!

Can't recommend it for any reason. Towels were taken when the room was cleaned but not replaced with new towels. Hotel laundry was left in the halls. Sheets were never changed. Power went out for a day. Pretty much anything that could go wrong did.
