Glk Premier Acropol Suites & Spa Hotel in Istanbul

Have stopped here before and would do so again very close to the blue mosque and sea front.food in hotel wes very good and staff very helpful and room very comfortable

GLK Hotel & Suites Acropol is 100% the best hotel in whole Istanbul! First of all, the location is prime and right next to major sights of the city: 5 minute walk from Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, German Fountain, and Hippodrome; 15 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar; 5 minute walk to the tramway line T1; 15 minute walk to 2 nearby subway lines; 8 minute walk to Bosporus Strait; 5 minute walk to airport shuttle bus stop. The hotel staff are the best people I’ve met in Turkey: kind, helpful, and very hardworking. My room was cleaned every day, and cleaned really well. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and had many options to choose from. I, a vegetarian, never had a problem of choosing what to get. The hotel’s hamam is so amazing and personally used one booking per time, not like saunas in many hotels. I’ve also tried the massage, which was professional and the masseuse was kind to adjust it to my needs, paying attention to the areas I’ve pointed out. The room was great and the furniture nice and comfortable. I’ve had the best view of Bosporus Strait from my window with breathtaking sunrises and seagulls always posing for a shot. I also highly enjoyed the bathtub in my room, with all the toiletries. The hotel WiFi is fast and works well too. There’s an elevator in the hotel. The outdoor and indoor design is very attractive and Turkish style. I’ve worked out in the gym one morning, 6-7am, which was blissfully empty. There are various restaurants and shops to buy clothes, bags, jewelry, tea, sweets etc right next to the hotel. There are also 2 convenience stores with a wide range of fresh fruit, baklava, dairy and meat products, water and drinks 15 meters from the hotel. The receptionists, who are more than happy to help and available 24/7, called a taxi for me which arrived within 2 minutes. All in all, you can’t find a better place to stay at in the whole city!!

The stay was generally fine and the location is very good, just a 5-minute walk to Sultanahmet. However, the room is not well soundproofed — I could easily hear people talking in nearby rooms and noise from the lobby, which was a bit disturbing. Also, the water pressure in the shower was quite low. Other than these issues, the stay was okay.

Loved the breakfast and the friendly staffs, particularly both receptionists who went above & beyond!

The staff were very welcoming and immediately showed us places to visit which we found helpful. The activities such as the cruise were very relaxing and their massage was amazing! The hotel itself is nice and clean as everyday cleaners come, there is quite a bit of noise but it can’t be helped due to being a tourist attraction. When regarding a concern, staff are immediately sent to help us which reassures us on our stay - will definitely book again next time we visit. Around the hotel there are many restaurants near so there is no worry when searching for food along with their complementary breakfast.

Incredible experience at this hotel. We got there on a very early flight and they let us check in at 8am! The staff were super nice and helpful. The hotel is located on a street full of restaurants and bars, and a short walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. The view was amazing and we enjoyed our stay very much.

By far the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Prices were competitive. The view of the Hagia Sophia and Sea of Marmara, unrivaled. Breakfast was both varied and prepared with great care for customers. Customer service throughout every experience is the best in the hospitality industry. My room, loved it. Comfortable and relaxing for all the walking and sightseeing I did. Also, the Turkish bath was a first for me. Before I knew I was so relaxed I fell asleep. I was so clean and relaxed I hated leaving.

It’s pretty closed historic places. I booked 2 rooms, one for my parents, and one for my family. I was stayed 4 days, some days were but noisy, but most of days were fine. Staffs are kind, Room was pretty organized. But we left 2 cups used with beer, they not washed those. The refrigerator in room wasn't cool enough.
Only single-layered sheet were provided, perhaps because it was summer. If you get cold easily, ask hotel for extra blankets.

I had a very good experience at this hotel. Conveniently located right next to the Hippodrome, so you can walk to almost everything (bring comfy shoes because the streets are cobblestone).

The staff was extremely accommodating and made sure every need was taken care of with a 24/7 desk person.

The rooms were clean and they had maid service daily, along with a decent Turkish breakfast buffet.

The only downside was the air conditioning. It worked great, but could be finicky to turn on (most places in Istanbul shut power off in the rooms when you’re not there to conserve energy). But, after a minute or so, it cooled down and stayed comfortable throughout the night (I visited in June).

I would recommend this 100%.
