There are buts!!!
It is incredibly annoying that hotel management outsources parking services to third-party people!
It seems like the minute you drive in, the Valet Parking guys are chasing you to pay almost as high as 10% of the overnight rate just for parking!!! Even though you prefer self-parking, the result remains the same.
This had happened to us during our 3 previous stays.
Breakfast was one of the best until a few months ago, and it is very noticeable that the food quality and variety are declining.
I usually prefer not to write lengthy negative comments, but as a HH Gold Member, I am losing sympathy for this hotel due to the mistreatment of its guests.
Hope hotel management will take care of their guest as well as taking care of third party valet parking people.
The hotel is in a perfect location for shopping , restaurants , boating , anything tourism!
Would definitley stay here again without a doubt and recommend to anyone travelling to Istanbul.
This hotel completely ruined our trip. The staff are incompetent, careless, and treat guests like nobodies. We booked two rooms under the same name to be close together, but they put us on different floors. One of the rooms reeked of chemicals.
At reception, they smile politely but don’t solve any problems. They don’t care that you’re on vacation. The photos online do not match reality. The rooms lacked even the basics — no bathrobes, no toothbrushes. The phone in the room didn’t work, so we had to run downstairs every time.
The worst part: dirty towels with fresh lipstick stains. That is beyond unacceptable. When we complained, no one bothered to listen. It feels like the staff just wait for you to give up and leave.
In all my travels, this is by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced. If you want to ruin your vacation, waste your money, and feel completely disrespected — welcome to this so-called “hotel.”
The nice thing is that during breakfast a chef, Recep greets you and is always so kind. Every morning he greeted me with a warm, smiling face, which made my day nice . It’s small gestures like this that truly make a hotel stay feel welcoming. Comming back soon :)

The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it hard to get up in the morning! The room was spotless, and housekeeping kept everything tidy and fresh. The staff were consistently helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay.
One of the highlights was The Hood, the rooftop restaurant, with its beautiful ambiance and stunning views. We loved having breakfast at the hotel each morning—the spread was impressive and delicious, offering a great start to our days.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree Moda. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming hotel experience in Kadikoy.
