Policies and conditions
- Public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and costs EUR 5 per day.
- Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 17 years old stay for € 10 per person per night when using an existing bed.
People no matter the age stay for € 10 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
No cots are available.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay. - Pets are not allowed.

Awesome hostel, super friendly staff and happy cat. The room was nice and comfortable, and there were good breakfast and dinner services. The toilets were clean and other clients were friendly- exactly what you want when staying with others. Even with a couple mishaps, the hostel was very helpful to us. The hotel can be loud, with demolition works happening at the time of our stay, but this did not detract from the good value experience.

This is my favorite place to stay when I come to Istanbul. I refuse to go anywhere else. Everyone is so nice and sweet. I love coming here because it’s like a family

The best hostel in the İstanbul to stay. Location is perfect and staffs are very friendly, helpful. And there's an amazing cat which welcomes you. There's also a terrace and it has great İstanbul view. You'll like it.

I’ve come here twice and loved it both times. I’ve experienced staying with friends and also being solo. Both times were great and the staff was very welcoming. The rooftop was a highlight of both trips. I also booked serval things through the hostel which turned out great.

There's so many pros that it's hard to keep track of all of them, here's a brief summary :
- ideal location, next to the main sites of Istanbul and to the boats (in case you want to see the asian side of the city)
- very lively atmosphere in the hostel with many young people around and staff members running events every day. The rooftop plays a key part in this dynamic as it brings everyone together in a comfortable setting
- a kind and helpful staff, always prepared to give you a hand and make you at ease
- quiet rooms (which seems to contradict my point about the liveliness of the hostel) : somehow I spent some very relaxing nights during my stay there !
In sum, don't hesitate for one minute, Second Home is the place to go, enjoy ! :)

Awesome place, really warm and friendly hosts. They may come off as a bit reserved at first but if you are genuinely interested in them, the area, and the culture they can be a lot of fun. Try to gather a group to go bar hopping and they'll show you some of Istanbul's best night life. You can just hang out in the common area if you feel like meeting new people or finding things to do. I would definitely come back again.
Oh and the location is great, right next to Topkapi Palace, the Hagia Sophia, and local tram lines.

Stayed for 5 nights, a few days ago , with my best friend,and I strongly can recommend, its a very good hostel, clean, very nice people and a lovely atmosphere, excellent breakfast, very helpful staff...close to everything you want to see...I will return and stay there next time!!!

Wonderful Hostel in the heart of Istanbul!
've spent with a girlfriend for a couple of days here and really enjoyed it!
The staff are all incredibly accommodating and friendly, a very nice atmosphere! The location is top! And there is a class of roof terrace:)

The room is a little bit small but that is not a problem compared with the good attendance, break fast and really cozy rooftop. I believe to be the best cost benefit considering the great location. You will not need to use bus or metro to visit the touristic places.
