Hippodrome Hotel in Istanbul

Lets start with the breakfast view, it was wonderful. We love it so much. The breakfast food were okay. The room was so nice, clean and tidy. The design is just nice. They had a kitchen at my floor, with microwave, eating utensils, all provided. The cleaner was so friendly, no english yet tried very hard to understand our questions and requests. (But then I used google translate to make her life easier haha). The reception was so helpful. Our first day at this location was one of the best decision we made, 2-3 minutes walk to the park where you can see the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia up close? You need to pass through this park to get to tram station(Sultan Ahmet Station- 7 minutes strolling), so its an amazing walk. This area is good for walking and strolling. You should try it.

It was great, the breakfast is well worth it, the staff were very friendly, the location is central, clean and close to the main attractions.

Friendliest, welcoming, helpful staff I have had the luxury of meeting. The room was excellent, bed was comfortable, shower was refreshing free breakfast was amazing. Love Princess the cat, so gorgeous.

Why you'd want a chain hotel, even the grandest, in a city like Istanbul.is between you and your Maker but you'd really be missing out on the earmest charm and delight of a cozy friendly personal place that is Hippodrome. My room was super clean and quiet, terrific housekeeping service, fluffy towels, strong shower. I didnt like the breakfast situation at all though, crammed, rude guests. But the food was good the one time I bothered in my 4 nights there. Still, that would never discourage me from rebooking

Stayed one night in the rooftop suite with Sezgin at the front desk, having stayed elsewhere the night before. This location is by far better than other parts of the old town, easy walking distance to tram and metro, and a vibrant restaurant and bar area nearby

From the moment we were still on our way the day before our arrival, the hotel was already accommodating us. I was so impressed by how kind the manager, Ms. Arzu, was. They allowed us to check in early and even provided a temporary room for us to rest in after our 10-hour bus ride, while our actual room was being prepared.

Not only that, but they also served us a delicious breakfast with many options to choose from. The hotel is very clean and offers a beautiful beachside view. The breakfast area has a stunning view of the Blue Mosque and the beach, where you can even see a lot of seagulls flying around.

Another great thing is the location—it’s perfect! You’re close to many shops, restaurants, and the train station. All the staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, from the porter to the receptionists and the cleaners.

I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. This will surely be our go-to hotel every time we visit Istanbul. Once again, thank you to everyone at the hotel!
