Charm Hotel in Istanbul

Would not recommend staying here. Although it is a good location the hotel room is dirty and is not cleaned unless you ask at reception for it to be cleaned. The windows are dirty and the bathroom is not the best either. Decor is very outdated with broken furniture. The only thing we really appreciated was the person who made breakfast and bought it to our room. He was very helpful and friendly.

My mother who is 67 years old and I flew to Istanbul arriving at the hotel at approximately 3:00 AM after a long and tiring journey We were hoping for a smooth check-in and a comfortable stay but were met with a series of disappointing issues The first and most significant problem was the absence of an elevator in the hotel This was a critical detail for us as my mother has limited mobility Before our trip I specifically inquired about the availability of an elevator at the hotel Unfortunately the hotel staff did not respond to my inquiry which I have documented with a screenshot
Upon arrival we were dismayed to find that the hotel indeed did not have an elevator This posed a significant challenge for my mother who struggles with stairs Given the situation I immediately requested a room on the first floor However the hotel staff informed me that the only available room on the first floor was a three-bedroom suite Despite the circumstances they refused to offer us this room even though it was their oversight that led to the situation
Given the late hour and the fact that we had no other options I had no choice but to assist my mother up the stairs to our assigned room on the second floor This was a physically challenging task for her and added unnecessary stress to our stay .Room didnt match to photos provided and nor was breakfast

Service was the worse I've ever had in my life.

Rooms are absolutely disgusting and look completely different from the photos. Rooms are MUCH smaller in person and are extremely unsanitary. The bathroom smells strongly of sewage and is also not clean AT ALL. There were dead flies stuck to the wall in the shower and the tap on the sink was moldy and would shake out of place when turned on. The closet also hits you with a strong nasty smell as soon as you open its doors. My room had a double bed and a single and both beds were broken; the double bed frame was broken and the single’s mattress was tilted to the right resulting in extremely uncomfortable sleep (or lack there of). Even walking in the room with the little space provided would get your feet dirty. The AC also constantly drips water when turned on. The rooms do not get cleaned everyday like other hotels. They are “cleaned” upon request where the staff will come into your room and only pretend to clean as the room will be the exact same level of filth as before. When I discussed my displeasure with the managers they refused to give me a refund and basically said it was our fault because we “booked this room”. The delusional managers tried to convince me that the room photos are perfectly accurate. This was until I asked one of them if he would be happy with the room I received in which his face changed and he instantly stopped talking and couldn’t respond to my question. I ended up booking another hotel as I could not stay in this filth any longer. As my family and I were carrying out our bags the scamming manager asked me for the key to my room THAT I WAS NOT REFUNDED FOR. I told her she’ll get the key when i check out as I have booked this room. She was persistent as she wanted to sell the room to another unfortunate customer in which I declined because I don’t want anyone else to go through this filthy disgusting hotel. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS, THIS HOTEL IS A BIOLOGICAL HAZARD.
